More news has just come in regarding this year’s Jump Festa, with Kingdom Hearts 2 – Final Mix+ leading the way!

Among many other Square titles, Kingdom Hearts 2 – Final Mix+ will be present at this year’s show – probable information to be revealed to the public includes more on bonus features, some new images and the trailer from TGS going public.

Jump Festa ’07 runs from December 16th to December 17th this year, and we will be all Kingdom Hearts related material from the show in full!

Yet again in the eyes of the public, more valuable information about the anticipated release of Kingdom Hearts 2 – Final Mix+. The information was released by a late issue of Jump magazine. It had included some brief information about the game, like extra scenes and extra pictures.

Some extended features include:

• Full English Voice Acting.
• More scenes regarding Namine.
• An entirely new chapter that gives insight on Organization XIII.

Another huge piece of information that was shown was the fact that one of the soldiers in the trailer has his mask broken off! Does that mean that the revealing of these mysterious masked characters is not far from the public? Well…we shall soon see.

Spike TV’s Annual Video Game Awards will be held in a few weeks time, and among their nominations, Kingdom Hearts 2 is in the running for two awards!

The main award KH2 can see itself running for is the coveteed ‘Best RPG’ award, going up against the likes of Final Fantasy 12, among others.

The other award the title has been nominated for is the lesser known ‘Best Supporting Female Role’, which Rachael Leigh Cook has been nominated for playing Tifa.

One of the main upcoming pieces of Kingdom Hearts merchandising to be released has been revealed in it’s entirety, with the complete Kingdom Hearts Trading Card Game set being revealed.

The complete set can be seen here.

Basically the cards can be simply collected for the sake of it, for those die-hard fans, or can be played out as an original game. Notice that the set includes characters from the original that weren’t featured in the sequel, and vice-verca (Smee, etc.). Alongside the characters are also many of the items from the series, including everything from Keyblades to small trinkets such as Genie’s Lamp and the Cursed Aztec Gold.

There is still no news on whether these cards will be released outside of Japan, but if anything develops you’ll here it here!

Square Enix designer, Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that the third installment of the Disney and Square Enix hybrid is not on the books, despite the fact its counter-part, Disney pushes forward for the deal.

It would seem that fans of Kingdom Hearts must not formulate any ideas about the release, but we can ponder about at least one of the two parties wants for the project to continue on-wards.
