From what I know the main character is the last knight in the secret ending of kh2. It might very well be VERSUS of the ffXIII but as a knight and in the last kh game. This is an entirerly new game and new storyline.
It is said for Kingdom Hearts 3 to com out March 2009.

Thomas, there is currently no more information about Kingdom Hearts 3, the only information I can have at the will of my self is only rumors, but be sure when data of Kingdom Hearts 3 is either leaked or release d I shall try and extract that information as soon as possible.
