Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix: Way to the rematches revealed!

In the newest issue of Famitsu, the way to do battle again with all the members of Organization XIII/13th Order has been revealed!

The first of the two above images coincides with the Famitsu article, revealing that to get to this area it must be unlocked from within Hollow Bastion. Down near where the computer to get to Space Paranoids (Tron’s world) is, a new room has been added, leading to another computer that contains all the ‘data’ of the thirteen Organization members!

Using this computer, or entering this ‘data room’ leads you to the above area with the thirteen gates. New versions of all thirteen battles have been added here!

The above image is also a new poster that was just released to promote the game. Nothing really notable, but it looks pretty!

Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix: It’s been a while… old friend.

We were recently able to show you the elusive Kingdom Hearts 2 – Final Mix+ trailer originally shown at last year’s Jump Festa. Now, we are able to present a subtitled version!

As I worked out last time, the last line was “friend” – these translators were infinitely better than me though! A very good job, if I may say so myself!

Kingdom Hearts 2 – Final Mix+ is releasing on Japanese PS2s on March 27th. This is Tetsuya Nomura’s final PlayStation 2 game.

Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix: The 13th Order and Nomura

Another week, another scan. This time around we get a sneak peak at the area in which we will be refighting the 13th Order.

Nomura has also spoken out about a few still-secret features in the game. Firstly, the new secret boss, of whom we have no knowledge of yet, is the strongest of all enemies – stronger than any Order member or Sephiroth, this boss (he or she, we still don’t know) has to be defeated if you want to see the new scret ending.

Didn’t beat him/her/it? No secret ending for you then.

He has also, once again, reminded everyone that the anouncement for the new Kingdom Hearts project will be made soon, so do not fret, KH3 may be closer than we think…

UPDATE:
In the interview, Nomura also states that Kingdom Hearts II – Final Mix+ will be his last PlayStation 2 game. So no, KH3 will have nothing to do with PS2, people!

On a more positive note, Kingdom Hearts III will not be featured at Square-Enix Party ’07 in May, but will, as mentioned, be shown around June/July this year.

Kingdom Hearts COMPLETE Soundtrack

Although this was announced a few days ago, I thought the track listing looked fishy so I decided to wait and see, rather than risk posting false info.

Turns out I was right and there was a little inaccuracy in there, but nothing major. I still think the final track is mis-named, or else Shimomura’s English suddenly took a dive. Or maybe it’s just some silly pun.

Anyways, the news is that a “Kingdom Hearts COMPLETE Soundtrack” is releasing in Japan on March 27, the day before Final Mix+ is released. The soundtrack includes 9 discs, spanning KH1, Chain of Memories/Re:Chain of Memories, KH2, KH1 Final Mix and KH2 Final Mix. Yes, that does indeed mean that a few new tracks are present, namely 23 minutes of brand new songs!

Click here to view all the new tracks, and click the ‘back’ button to view all the rest of the tracks!

More news on this as we have it.

UPDATE: Poor quality pics.

Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix: New scan, new minigame, new battle

A new issue of Jump means more info on Final Mix+! This time, new info on the Final Mix Axel battle, and the minigames of 100 Acre Wood!

kh2fm_53.jpg

Basically, the battle with Axel is from the bonus ‘White Room’ battle with the Order members in Final Mix. The battle is obviously influenced by the opening Roxas battles with him, except this has a ‘sense of finality’ about it, and is much more difficult.

The new mini-game on the other hand is from the 100 Acre Woods in Re:CoM. Apparently, this isn’t the only minigame to appear in the Woods – it is still unknown which CoM minigames will be returning, and how many more (if any) new ones there will be.

Also, Square-Enix Party 2007 will be held between May 12th and May 13th – new info here we come!
