Another new scan of new Kingdom Hearts title! Terra!

Only several hours after the first scan surfaced, yet another has been found, this time from today’s issue of Famitsu. The magazine dishes out in the picture department, giving us a much greater glimpse at the title!

Sorry folks, but at the moment this small version’s all we can fit at the site – the high quality version’s way too big! In terms of translations, we can tell you that the magazine, once again, makes no confirmations as to exacctly what this is. The article opens by talking about Chain of Memories, and that, coupled with the evidence in our previous article, would suggest this is Chain of Memories II… except for the fact that suddenly, the game is in the PSP’s natural widescreen display. Once again, we’ll wait until tomorrow to confirm whether we’re looking at Chain of Memories II or Zero. Until then, just rest easy and know that in Terra’s scene, he’s shouting “What have you done to their heart!!”, the bald man is saying “I believed that you would come…” and Roxas is saying “He said he’d seen me before.”

As to what these allude to, we’ll have to wait for the rumoured TGS trailer to understand further. Stick with us here for all the huge announcements in the coming 24 hours guys – today is the day!

New Kingdom Hearts scan, TGS begins

Well, we’ve been waiting for an age, and at last, TGS 2007 has begun! The pre-show conferences are happening as I type this (Konami’s finished less than ten minutes ago) and scans have appeared online from today’s Famitsu and V-Jump! And what happens to be in today’s V-Jump…?

Although the title isn’t 100% confirmed yet, 1UP, Jump and Jeux France are all stating that this title is one of the three that will be revealed across the next two days. The game COULD BE a PSP game that we’re seeing in the scans – the wide-screen gives a hint, but it’s wide-screen in a normal box, hence possible on a 4:3 screen. This could be ‘Kingdom Hearts Zero’, the PSP title. In the Organization picture, the caption says “So this is the one that can use the Keyblade?” In the Mickey image, he states “On that fateful day, I was here.” The game is obviously the prequel we’ve been hearing about, centering around Roxas and Axel’s story, as well as hinting at Mickey’s journeys while in the world of darkness.

As for the other two titles that will be revealed in the next 48 hours, the other is supposedly ‘Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories II’ for the DS. No word on how true this is yet, or what it will focus on, but stay tuned.

Lastly is the big announcement, the still untitled third entrance into the series. If the report is correct, the game is indeed a PS3 title, and will be worked on by the KH1/2/Versus 13 team once they’re finished with V13.

Also note that the scan is reporting this new series is most definitely NOT on only one console, hence why we’re seeing a PSP, DS and PS3 title being developmed. It is also official that NONE are remakes in any way, they’re all totally new.

Keep checking in for new updates, as we’re getting news in by the half-hour at the moment based on all the series I write for!

UPDATE: According to info over at Japanese forums 2ch, what we’re seeing may actually be Chain of Memories II! The article reports that CoM2 will feature full-3D cutscenes (hence what we see here) and will focus on Roxas. They also state that KH0 only has a logo shown. We’ll do a much more formal article tomorrow once everything is properly announced. Until then, theorize!

New Layout Implemented

Like what you see? I hope you do. Thanks to Nitro for the top banner. As usual, he did an outstanding job with the banner. Also, I am looking for someone dedicated and capable to run this Kingdom Hearts 3 site. The previous webmaster, Ash, left without a trace (and GoldenEyeRa has been rejecting the offer to become webmaster again and again xD), so it is time to move on. If anyone think they are qualified for the job, shoot me an email at rey2k5@gmail.com with your details and samples of work (portfolios).
