Translated Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days trailer!

Kingdom Hearts 3

The trailer that premiered in full quality yesterday has been translated, in the form of subtitles, online! All is revealed!

As you can see, the story is a very dramatic interpretation of Roxas’ final days in the Organization, and the effects that his attempts to escape the Organization have on the people surrounding his life. Xion is somehow placed amongst all of this, and her fate seems rather inevitable, but we shall see.

Any theories? Discuss ‘em in the talkback guys, and keep checking back for more news!

PS. A very special thanks to Organization X|||, who pointed out the trailer’s wherabouts. Nice work! :)

Square continues the Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days love!

Kingdom Hearts 3

Where is the love? Why, right here of course, in the form of a full quality trailer for Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days.

And it is looking breathtaking.

Square seems to have really hit the nail on the head here, and as far as I’m concerned a couple of months delay will only make the game better and better.

Additionally, you can watch the video in a higher quality here on the game’s official site by clicking on ‘MOVIES’ and following the links.

As for translations, I can’t really help much; I’m half asleep and not good enough to do the job anyway. The opening lines say something about entering thoughts, at one point Riku says that Xion’s keyblade is a fake. I also recall that when Xion first walks into the Organization tower-room, Xemnas says in a very ominous voice “…Number 14.” Other than that, I’m afraid you’ll have to wait for more professional translations done be people that aren’t half asleep!

Anyway, enjoy!

Wishes do come true! Kingdom Hearts trailers leaked!

Kingdom Hearts 3

As many of you know, Tokyo Game Show ‘08 recently came to a close, and all we really got from this was a little bit of Birth by Sleep footage.

Not any more! How about five minutes of brand new gameplay and cutscenes from both 358/2 Days and Birth by Sleep!??

You can check out these two incredible leaked trailers right here!!

(Please note that following this, trailers for The 3rd Birthday and Dissidia: Final Fantasy, two other Square-Enix PSP games, will also play).

The 358/2 Days trailer is looking excellent, and we can now clearly see Xion in action – her voice, her persona, etc. From what I can tell, at the end of the trailer she says “I will go… to Sora.” I’m not confident enough in Japanese to try and translate the rest though, other sites will get that done at a later date! XD

Birth by Sleep is looking very fun, and seems to be more influenced by Disney than 358/2 is. Still, the game is looking excellent, and will be a definite must-play!

Remember how I mentioned that you should keep checking back in after TGS because things may get leaked? Guess I was right! XD

ps: See, I’m not that lazy! We actually got this news before KH Insider!! XD

Good quality Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep footage

Kingdom Hearts 3

Although not much is shown in the footage (just one small area with some very basic gameplay), we can finally see Terra in action here, using a new technique [the Shoot Lock], and battling the new enemies.

As you can see, the footage comes courtesy of IGN, straight from the TGS show-room floor. If you want to see the footage from differnent angles, there are many different recordings of it, but this one seemed to be of the highest quality.

Other than this, not much else to say. Tokyo Game Show ‘08 has come to its official end, as I predicted, OPM’s rumour of Kingdom Hearts 3 being unveiled was, indeed, bogus!

Stay tuned as more basic news and information comes in from here until February, for the release of 358/2 Days. Also, regular reporting will resume as of November 2. Until then, only major announcements will be reported on here.

Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days sees delays

Kingdom Hearts 3

Yep, TGS has began, and it seems that, rather than blowing us away with a new Kingdom Hearts game, Square have decided to focus on the three currently in development… by giving us bad news…

How bad is the news? Not awful. Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days has had its Japanese release date delayed until February 2009. For those who may remember, they were telling us last TGS that the game would be released in the middle of 2008, then that became December 2008, now its January 2009. Will it be delayed again? Who knows, but at least we can be sure that Square is taking all the time needed on the title!

In other news, a new 358/2 Days trailer has been shown at the event, and while nothing hugely incredible was revealed, we can confirm a few things that have been shown: Xion’s hair is black (kinda the opposite of Namine’s, I see…), and there is a scene where Axel and Roxas talk… on Destiny Islands!!

Yep, Destiny Islands are featured in some way in 358/2 Days. Cool bananas? I think yes! XD

Stay tuned for more Kingdom Hearts-related news in the coming days!

Additionally, you can check out a full demo report here at IGN, straight from the show floor! See what you think!

Three more seconds of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days

Kingdom Hearts 3

Yep, you heard right, three more seconds! This time in high quality! THREE SECONDS! Incredibly, these three seconds will make everyone want to buy this game!

In all seriousness though, Nintendo has just announced their newest system, the Nintendo DSi, and to celebrate (and promote) the announcement, a new 3-minute trailer featuring all the new DS/DSi games was released.

Amongst other Square games (such as the new Final Fantasy titles), and other upcoming DS classics such as Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Prosecutor and Professor Layton and the Final Time Travel, Nintendo gave us a brief glimpse of 358/2 Days footage. Its nothing really new, but its good to see that Nintendo is placing great importance in the title, as it appears right near the end of the video at about 2:55.

Click here and follow the link, then hit play and enjoy the montage!

Stay tuned for more 358/2 Days information in the coming days, as the Tokyo Game Show will run from October 9 to October 12 in the Makuhari Messe.
