This is relatively small news overall, but for those of you who haven’t checked KH Insider lately, they’re reporting an interesting tidbit of information.

At this point, both Quinton Flynn (as Axel) and Vincent Corazza (as Zexion) have been confirmed as returning cast members from previous titles for the upcoming 358/2 Days. This important for two reasons:

1. It means that Square’s USA branch are committed to bringing in as much of the original cast as possible and
2. It also means that localization has begun on the title, with voice actors being hired this early. In the old days, Square would wait until a game was released in Japan before an English localization was began.

Other than this, not much news to report on.

Sorry we haven’t updated for a while guys, there didn’t seem to be enough reason to until now. A large batch of images were recently released for the upcoming DS incarnation, and we’re bringing you the highlights here for those of you that haven’t seen them yet!

Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days is being released exclusively on the Nintendo DS sometime in the first half of 2009 in Japan. We’ll keep you updated on a Western release date.
