A few new facts on handheld Kingdom Hearts!
Sorry this is a little late guys, none of the major sites seem to be really pointing this out at the moment, I got it from a forum. Anyway, some recent scans from a French magazine had a few interesting facts within them (but no new images).
The scans were pretty massive, and don’t really show anything new, so if you’d like to see them just make a visit to KH Insider (who, you’ll notice, have also added this translated info).
358/2 Days
-Anything gained within the single player game will be carried over into the multiplayer game.
-The game’s storyline will also answer many questions that we never really wondered about (quoted from Nomura)
-As everyone has mentioned, the game is still being release this Summer in Japan.
Birth by Sleep
-Aqua is NOT confirmed as a playable character, while Terra and Ven obviously are. There is supposedly a reason for this…
-Mickey is in training during this storyline to increase his strength – eventually he will become the King that we know from the originals.
-Ven’s full name is actually rather long (so not Ventus then?)
-Apparently, someone named Venom appeared in the KH2 Final Mix video… is this the name of Master Xehanort’s apprentice?

i love the fact for the ds game that you can brng single player attributes over to the multiplayer. Also wondering what kind of questions…im sure someone has mentioned it before, he jsut hasnt looked on this site, cause im almost certain we had every part covered.
Aqua must mean more than we think to the story, its kind of the opposite feel if shes not playable, but that ony makes it all the more interesting. Lastly, the name venom for the apprentice…it sounds almost too obvious, it fits and it sounds right, but to me it just sounds to cliche…

Yeah thats a big plus for 358/2 days with the singleplayer attributes can be used in the multipalyer part. And yeah what kind of question could it be? Maybe he reffers to why Roxas left the organization? And yeah Venom. I think its a pretty ok name for him but there are other that would be better. But what about maybe its some kind of code name of someone weve seen before or a look-alike of someone weve meet. Ah I dont know.

No that was Xemnas. But Roxas started to think about his orignial self and all that. And there are still a chance that we will play as Aqua.
Hey Golden, did you get a chance to look at the sequel of my movie yet? And I think it would be cool if they made a game that had like all of the anime and video game characters with one huge storyline! Like they could put in DBZ, Hal o, KH, Bionicle, Pokemon, Bobobo, Naruto, Jack and Daxter, and everything else! They could also make some new characters that originated from that game like with KH it had FF and Disney and some characters that came to life in the game itself. All the good guys and the bad guys from all the things could join together against some sort of totally powerful being. That would be so sweet.
Basically Super Smash Bros. Brawl but lamer huh? I say that DBZ should stay DBZ. If Vegeta ever met a Pokemon, predictable murder would take place. As for the new info, I think that it really doesn’t give us anything. I mean, names and hardly any gameplay information. This is a tireing wait.

Hey all. I know it has been a long while since I have posted. I have been busy with graduate school. Here is a question that I have. Do the organization members have numbers assigned to them? I remember reading back when the game would explain the new female character and why Org 13 never changed their name. I was thinking maybe she was “agent 0″ or something.
It would be cool if Master Xheanort’s or however you spell it apprentice was somehow Riku’s dad, and also it’s possible that Riku could have a nobody because when he turned evil in KH1 I think he lost his heart when the fake Ansem took over his body. And I dunno how but maybe the apprentice could be his heartless who went back in time somehow and he was secretly helping the chasers and Riku has always been a nobody because it happened when he was born and the heartless waited until he was born and he did it and became his dad. Just ideas.

hey guys i think i got something here you know that new scene in kh2 fm xemnas goes underground in the organasation castle and they show aqua’s armour and keyblade anyways in birth by sleep aqua’s heart was taken but her heart was strong enogh to survive and so she got a nobodie, well.

Well for Dragoons theory, it’s a safe assumption that anyone with a heart strong enough to wield a keyblade will probably have a heart strong enough to produce a nobody.
What I wonder is if Aqua’s nobody(assuming she has one) became XIII’s fourteenth member or she was a AWOL nobody, because the only other example of that would be Namine, who even in her part interacted with XIII.
Now the strange thing is, what did the individualized nobodies do before they joined the org? They don’t come into being with memories of their previous lives because Xehanort had the secret memory room built to recover them.
I think Xehanort and co. deliberatly became heartless and nobodies to get significantly more powerful, divinding their existences in two, one seeking darkness(heartless) and the other seeking a heart(nobody) but my final guess after that is that the plan was to reunite the two remants after pursuing the sources of power specific to their nature(power of darkness, and power from becoming a nobody) and becoming whole again become infinitly more powerful than when they were simple humans before.
If you just skimmed then thats cool. I just like to think out loud.

And lets shed some light on you dive. I believe if i remember correctly, the original members, ansem’s apprentices, purposly made themselves what they are, heartless and nobodies, so they are artificial, but just as strong. Now how exactly the other members became nobodies themselves…should hopefully be answered in the filler game.
Man, I just to play KH III, BBS and 358/2 look cool but I just wanna finish the damn thing. We can come up with theories(good as they are) until hell freezes over but that doesn’t entertain really quite as much. sigh
hmmm, well rezas right about the origona six purposly turning themselves over. they did it intentially. but the rest of the org 7-13/14 were “found” there was a scene in final mix with xigbar and i think it was Zexion , they were talking and news had come in about a new member that was in need of recovery. bascially, they were going to find him and tell him to join the org. If i remember correctly.

Manners Dragoon, Luna is right in the ease which one concieves your idea, but I personally belive you’re right. When Xemnas noticed her armor he called he an “old friend”. Which would mean they had some connection and Xemnas didn’t have much for sarcasm, having no heart and all. But # XIV would have had to have some influence on XIII but I did’nt notice anything really out of the ordinary in KH II, nothing that as of yet hasn’t been explained, besides Maleficent’s castle in Hollow Bastion but we have already addresed that.
Uh… Good theories, I guess. Well, Xemnas could be referring to when the chasers (including Aqua) battled Master Xehanort in BBS. I think Xemnas has to have a connection to Master Xehanort, so I think at some point Aqua dies and Xemnas is saying that old friend stuff to her armor, which is why you can’t play as her. And I forget who said it, but everyone should check out Kingdom Hearts Stupid Files on Youtube, they’re hilarious!

Luna doesn’t have a “high horse”, Heartless, nor do any of us. Many just keep principles and behavior that we prefer to follow. Didn’t they say earlier that 358/2 days was coming out in the U.S. in Winter? Probably around december.
But most of the earlier games, i’ve noticed, all came out in March. What a break in tradition…

Oh, and mildly offtrack that may have a major influence on a future kh game. We already know that Disney made a huge leap in kh2 when they made Pirates of the Caribbean. So this news is a huge thinker for both fan bases but…prince of persia…
If you didnt know, they are makng a film wiht the pop name, and recently, it was picked up by jerry bruchheimer or however you spell it. Anyways, he works with disney, meaning disney bought the rights to the movie, whic is said to come out in 09. Theres a link in my name to one of the info sites…

Back to the Kairi thing: I think she will be Keyblade weylder in the next game, but I DO NOT want her to be one. I still think that only ONE person out of all of the worlds should weild the Keyblade, it just does not seem right to have all theses people running around with Keyblades.

well obviously moogle, what you think and what is, is two different things. Theres a difference between wielder and master. There can be hundreds upon thousands of wielders, cause there are requirements that we dont know all about to wield the blade. However there can onl be a select few masters of the keyblade, which makes sense
That was not what I said at all. I said notheing of mastering the wepoen. I said that only one person should be able to use it PERIOD But that is just my opinon, and evryone is intiteled to there own.
the thing is, its not that bad of an idea, cause a weapon that can unlock and lock any door and such, is such a powerful weapon, that maybe only one person should wield it. However, at this point, that idea is mute, cause then the entire story would basically be torn apart

i have this feeling that what nomura is trying to do is to set up a recreate of what happened with ven terra and aqua. thats why Kairi was given the keyblade. to be a present day Aqua. which could if you think about it explain that letter. how history could repeat itself. just a thought

Well it seems like Im the only one that dont think Kairi will be a wielder. We know that some keyblades you might find somehwere like Mickey maybe did. But I think the Keyblade has been a weapon restricted to a few persons. I still dont think Kairi is one of them. Also the keyblade should be a weapon only a few can wield.
i think kairi got the keyblade at that point in time just because she was in danger; she needed it.
Nomura stated that in an interview there are “rules and stipulations” for wielding a keyblade. The obvious ones are having a strong heart and resolve, but then there are others (regulations) for wielding one that are unknown to us.
I kinda liked it when just Sora, Riku and the King were bladeslinging back at the world that never was, Kairi was around but she mostly watched towards the end. As for multiple wielders, the more there are, the less of an achievment it is, at least it seeems that way to me.
What I now wonder is how did Riku jack Sora’s keyblade back in KH I. Sure his heart was stronger in that split instant but I doubt that a chosen weapon will be that fickle. Sure, Riku was the first canidate to wield it but he already surrendered himself to the darkness. Seems that either he had a trick up his sleeve or the keyblade just can’t make up it’s mind.
well we just might get 2 now them soon Reza and about kairi’s thing of the keyblade well she should wield it cause shes sometimes getting in trouble and if shes alone shes going to need the keyblade.

She wasnt helpless, her will to want to protect her friends from the heartless, to risk her own life to protec tthem, gave her a strong enough heart and will to be able to wield it

It doesnt matter if you give someone a keyblade or not, the keyblade chooses its wielder. Remember when Sora gave the keyblade to Jack? After a second it went back to sora. If the blade lets the person wield them, it will stay with them, if it doesnt want it, then they will go to another wielder

Wasn’t one available? Can’t be because Nomura already said there are as many keyblades as there are qualified wielders. I think Kairi was able to use it because Riku “willed” the weapon to be used by her, he “instructed” it if you get what I’m saying. I wonder though what type of keyblade it was, Light Realm, Dark realm, Twilight? The World That Never Was isn’t in the realm of light anyway is it? But Riku could have brought the weapon with him from else where like the King did with his blade. Questions.
Actually its the wielder that decide if someone can let them hold it. If Sora want it for himself he can have it but if he want to give it to someone else for a while he can let them use it.

if you leave it to just the four realms dive, then it had to come from twilight. Cause, sora has the light, riku has the dusk/dawn, and mickey had the dark. But i dont think it was twilight. Im thinking it was from another power. Yes there are the 4 realms, but there also a bunch of smaller entities, power of love, friendship, strength, protection, soul, spirit, etc. Countless other powerful categories exist
yeah. but talking about giving your keyblade to other to use. Riku didnt give that. he gave A keyblade to kairi but not HIS keyblade. so that point is mute. we still have no idea where it came from, becuase it wasnt rikus keyblade.
I don’t recall Nomura alluding to those entities Reza, it is possible that they have definite parts to play, we just(Or I haven’t) haven’t seen them as a personified acting force. But we have seen instances of “artificial” keyblades. A poor term since all of them are made by people, but for context we’ll talk about the one Xehanort’s heartless gave Riku. Made from the purity of the hearts of the princesses of light, it had very specific abilities.
What I believe to be the most likely answer to our question is Riku “made” another keyblade instead of “earning” one though I assume he used less questionable methods then Xehanort’s Heartless and Maleficent. And now we are at the point where we can only speculate.
Off topic but still, I think back to the room in The World That Never Was where there were doors to the residences of all of XIII, we only got to see three of them, and I would have sure loved to see the rest. Perhaps 358/2 will help me there.
You didn’t get to see the rest besause the doors were linked to the org members rooms, and when the members were defeted the link was broken. And because 358/2 days takes place when the members are still alive, we should be able to see the rooms.

Off topic of what you guys were talking about… i know its been mentioned a million timaes how the keyblades in the trailer for bbs don’t have keychains, but i noticed when i was watching it that master xehanorts keyblade does have one. do you guys think it means anything.
Well yes we know that Matser Xehanorts and the DS keyblades have keychains. It must mean something big. Like he has some extra power to his keyblad4e or anything. But I have no idea of what
And Im sure they have videos for 358/2 days but they want to keep it secret as long as they can.
And the keyblades meaning during Soras time seems to be a bit different from the time with Terra and Master Xehanort to me. At Soras time it seems more of a few speacial weapons only handed to a few persons and its representing a special realm or something. But during Terras time its a bit more common.

Dive, the other entities that i mentioned, yes, were never talked about by Nomura-san, its my own theory, nothing more really. But when it comes down to the basics, everything has a power and whatnot. And a question i forgot to answer, the world that nver was, your right, it wasnt in the light realm. That place is like “neutral” or other world, just like twilght town, traverse town and hollow bastion
So Kairi’s weapon “could” be from the twilight realm. Wonder what perks comes with that. But yeah, I did know that the portals for the XIII members were destroyed because they were eliminated but I still would have liked to see inside them.

As previously noted. But I was still hoping to see inside them when 358/2 comes out. Possibilities.
thats possible Dive,i wish 2 see inside 2,but they dint want 2 and what can we do. i think if we base on some of Reza’s theories the way that kairi could have been let 2 hold the keyblade was the power of love and friendship and when you guys ask from were did the keyblade that Riku gave Kairi came well we wont know for now but remember that Riku was also able 2 control the keyblade whenever he wants 2 or im wrong,just like everyone thats in here.
Well Rick, seems liek were all in the same boat and if one of us is wrong we’re all probably close by. But now I recall how beast Roxas was when in KH II Final Mix when you have to face him as Sora. Perhaps you get some of those combos and skills in 358/2. Lasers and whatnot, very cool, that and the dual blade action you got to work Axel with in digital Twilight Town.

Don’t have it. We use to tear through videos and gameplay footage on this site way back when. There was a point as Sora where you fought Roxas, though you didn’t know it was him, you fought a XIII memberwho had two keyblades and basically a savage sword slinger. This took place in the Dive to the Heart.
yeah. the scene in KH2 at memory skyscraper in the world that never was, was made into gameplay. when you get there, you are removed from donald and goofy, and you fight roxas who was as said before a beast. then the normal scene plays and the game continues.
whoops, forgot to mention, i dont think those rooms that the org members were in are specific to them at all. i think there just plain rooms that the org members were in. i mean think about it, those rooms werent really specific to saix or luxord. they were just places you entered to get to them. so if we see the rooms in 358/2 days, i dont think it will be anything special.

NO sora didnt take the keyblade roxas nocked out his on the ground then sore used the force to get his keyblade back. then he slashed roxas in 2.

I meant in Final mix where you actauly get to play the fight against roxas, im pretty sure the final combination you get to use 3 keyblades
Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, though nobody probably cares. And Reza-Kaze, you are right, I have watched a lot of KH2FM on Youtube, so I’ve seen that battle many times, and there is a combo where you can take Roxas’ keyblades and use super cool combos, but for some reason I think they are small or something. Roxas didn’t really target people when working for XIII, he was sent after heartless to collect their hearts for the big kahuna. Thats why when he split they tried so hard to get him back and opted to trick Sora afterward. I guess then, # XIV will be not that crucial to the story. I just wanna play KH III and be done with it.
All I know is if Sephiroth takes on a seventeen year old Sora or a eighteen year old Riku then he’ s gonna have a hell of a day.

If i remember correctly the emotions roxas felt may have been his friendship with Axel, made possible because Roxas was the only noboody to have part of a heart, The reason Ansem the Wise had him abducted. Roxas’ half heart may have shaken things up with Axel or #XIV, I haven’t heard any rumors about her, We did see Axel cry a tear when Roxas left which is a sign of emotion, which is the food for my theory.

hey i just thought of something, it was said that there is another type of enemy besides heartless and nobodies, maybe that 3rd type are like chasers or something, like when u become a heartless u lose ur heart, and when ur empty shell is left thats a nobody, but theres 3 parts to a person but maybe the 3rd thing is a chaser or whatever there gonna call it.
Well if there’s going to be a new kind of enemy it will mostlikly be one who is “souless” I am sure of that, but not the other part in your post.
Good concepts but I think the most likely enemy would be whatever made Master Xehanort so rotten or vice versa. Could be “chasers” for lack of a better name but I still think they’re too related to the heartless and nobodies already. In my opinion, the armor of Terra, Aqua and Ven share alot of physical characteristics with the heartless and nobodies though so you could be closer than we think.

FF and KH haven’t had any new news in quite a while, Square just keep rambling on about the smaller games at the moment, I guess ’cause they’re cheaper to develop.

riku is sorta like the common sidelines guy. he knows he can have anyone, and because of that he needs no one. if he wanted kairi he could, if he wanted larxene he could (given she had a heart) but becuase its so easy, theres no need.

The staying alive idea wouldn’t work well with KH. It would remind me of Dark Cloud; in a bad way at least. But being able to customize your own keyblade in KH3 would be awesome.

Well before we started seven grade we tested all the three modertn languages you could chose from to start learning in 7th grade. So I learned a little bit of french, spanish and German then and later I got to chose oe of them. After that I would never thought I would learn a bit more french. yeah. theres alot of similaities between french and spanish. in fact, there is a way to say yes that is Si.
it comes when your contradicting someone, for example, if someone asks your not going to the movies tonight?
you say for example, yes i am, and in that instance you would use Si. not oui.
