For our first bit of information, Org and I thought it would be prevalent to start with BBS.
As many of you know, the NA Birth by Sleep release is just around the corner, with a confirmed date of September 7th, 2010. Europe follows shortly after, coming in at September 10th, 2010. The day is coming fast, with just 70 and 73 days for the NA and EU releases respectively. Personally, I have already ordered my copy in anticipation for one of the years greatest games.
For those of you that didn’t watch, the annual E3 convention held in Los Angeles, California took place about two weeks ago, during which time an English trailer was released for BBS. This video, running about about five minutes long, is, in my opinion, simply astounding, displaying many voice actors, some you may recognize, others you may not. That video can be found here. Enjoy.
Lastly, many voice actors for the English and European releases have been confirmed whiles others are still rumored. However, i have a list of them here, both rumored and confirmed. Beginning with the main characters:
Master Xehanort has been confirmed to be voiced by Leonard Nimoy, the original Spock from Star Trek.
Aqua has been confirmed to be voiced by Willa Holland.
Master Eraqus has been confirmed to be voiced by none other than Mark Hamill, who was Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars.
Ventus of course is voiced by Jesse McCartney, as is Roxas. Vanitas is going to be voiced by Haley Joel Osment, as is Sora. Both of those are confirmed as well.
Lastly, Terra. So far, i have found two possible voices for Terra, both of which i was unable to find a confirmation for. First off, I was unable to tell from the video, but it has been rumored that Christian Bale, who played Batman in The Dark Knight, is going to be playing Terra, however, i have seen no official confirmation, and could not discern for myself, if you are able to tell if that is Bale, please say so. Secondly, i have heard that Johnny Yong Bosch is going to be playing Terra. Bosch has been in multiple video games and anime series throughout his career, including Nero from Devil may Cry 4, Ichigo Kurosaki from the Bleach anime, and Adam, the second Black Power Ranger in the original series. again, if you can confirm if this is Bosch, please do so.
Moving on, many of the organization members are making a return, such as:

Aeleus: David Boat
(The One and Only) Isa: Kirk Thornton
Lea: Quinton Flynn

Wow – they’ve pulled in a great cast here! Although I’m 99% certain that’s not Bale unfortunately; I’m a huge fan of his work, the only voice acting he’s ever done was Howl’s Moving Castle, and he’s been filming “The Fighter” for a while now, so scheduele-wise it wouldn’t work.
Plus, it doesn’t really sound like him. It does, however, sound a lottttt like Johnny Yong Bosch, so I’d say it’s almost certainly him.
Anyway I’ve been in the dark regarding this game for ages, but with that trailer, plus Nimoy + Hamill, I’m pretty much sold!

Plus its great that its not just McCartney returning – he came back for 358 last year, so this isn’t too surprising, but Osment hasn’t been involved since 2006, and hasn’t done much since then. Good to see Square USA still wants him onboard.
Also, Quinton Flynn!! Raiden in the flesh, again! And of course, several other Organization cast members reprising their roles. Square didn’t skimp on voice acting budget, that’s for sure!
Yeah it’s an interesting cast alright. KH 3D really interests me a lot.
all of the organization memebers of that list are the members from their respective KH 2 or Recom roles, so im really excited about that.
as for osment, he was having some DUI troubble a while back, i dont remember the exact details, but it could be why he was a no name there for a while.
as for bosch, im a big fan of his work. ive played alot of games with him as the main character, and i think he has a nice sounding voice, especially for a character like terra. plus, i mean, come on, he was a power ranger. done deal right there.
but still, Nimoy, that just takes the cake right there. i mean, such a legendary figure in a kingdom hearts game, im definetly excited now.
They better spend almost whatever it takes to keep the voice acting intact. A great voice actor that stays on through the serie is necessary to keep it real and the same feeling. Not to forget, a great voice acting will take the game so much higher than just the gameplay, something Kh has succeded with so far
indeed. i believe the proper voice in an RPG can either make or break the character. you dont want a voice that doesnt fit that characters personality, live ive seen in some games. but KH has done well so far.

i want to find a way to advertise this site. i feel like people may come here, but not post because they dont find it interesting enough or something. if i can a) somehow appeal to the REAL kh fans, to where they love ALL the info and post on anything, or b) find some mediochre fans who will come for the misc. stuff that org and i are planning, then maybe we can revitalize this site.

Or you can try c) do both of them. Better aim hig from the beginning ;). Well, there also is option d) Just dont give a f*ck but I seriously doubt youll even consider that one.
And just do some commercial over at youtube, facebook pages or other similar websites. Just a quick post will make many people curious, and if there is some content worth yur time, theyll stick by and spread the word
i should try making a youtube post. that would be a good idea. somehow i would like to drum up some buisness. but if its not meant to be, oh well.
Yeah, you’ve a point there Luna. How would you do it though?
Im not sure, becuase i dont really want my face plasted all over youtube telling people to come to a kh site. If i did make an actual video, i would make like a dedication to it, fusing scenes from the games, then showing things to come, and at the end just have a text being like “want more visit ….”
but i also might just go on and post my email and tell people to contact me if theyre interested in Kingdom hearts information. that way, i might be able to build a personal fanbase as well if people are allowed to talk to me before they come to the site.
i might try the latter first, then resort to the former a little later on.
well, recently ive been posting like crazy on each and every youtube video i could find that had kingdom hearts in the title to try and get some fans to join us.
so far, only one hit, but he/she seemed excited about the site, so perhaps, expect to see a new name in the coming days.
hopefull ill get a few more hits so that we can expand our fanbase a little.
im not done advertising, this is only the first step.

yeah. its a slow process, but its going nonetheless.
ive also tried adding our url to other search engines that arent as popular, i made a yahoo answers question for people to look at, and plan to make a twitter account to try and establish a fanbase or sometihng (im not sure how twitter will work) but anyway, all i can do now is wait i suppose.

yeah, were doing our best. so far, ive only gotten two hits in the form of people contacting me on youtube, but i wont give up. ill think of new ideas, and time may yeild more people. besides, were not doing so bad now with the original five back, and then rickey and perhaps if Firagun stays around.
