Co-op in Birth By Sleep, New Screenshots
Japanese gaming magazine V-Jump has dropped some info on a new mode in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep — a co-op mode. Players take control of one of the three heroes — Ven, Aqua, and Terra — in a world called Mirage Arena. It’s basically an arena mode, in which the trio fights in their armor as seen in the secret trailer.
It is unknown whether or not the mode will be Ad-Hoc, Infrastructure, or both.
As well as this new information, the magazine released several screenshots. The shots reveal the Peter Pan world, as well as some shots of the Mirage Arena world. Check them out below.
There’s a new Birth by Sleep trailer on the showroom floor at TGS, however its behind closed doors I think… hmmm…

How can Sora penetrate the castle library where Mickey and the crew are monitoring the journal if Sora is only data? Also, I wonder, who could be the hooded figure if it is not Riku? What a twist we have on our hands……….

wow, those full armor picks look amazing. i wonder what the differance is between having just one arm with armor on it, rather than full body. maybe the progression through the story will lead to more armor, as a like a metaphor for maturation.

Ok, so i was just reading about BBS on wikipedia. Now i know wikipedia isnt the most creditable source on the net, but its never let me down before, and ive never read wrong information on it. anyway, it was saying that ven has a cameo in 358, where both xigbar and xemnas have flashbacks of him interacting with xion.
now, this perplexes me. BBS takes place ten years prior to KH. which means even longer before 358/chain of memories which is when xion existed.
MORE SPOILERS, EVEN WORSE THAN BEFORE, SERIOUSLY, DO NOT READ
now, since xion is a copy made by xemnas of soras memories, and then she went back to sora before KH2 began, theres only two possible ways xion and ven could have interacted since xion is a fake and ventus is old. either a) ventus can travel through time and came to t he 358 time period skipping ten years somewhere, or b) ventus is still around while xion is created. that would mean more than likely, ventus is someone we know somehow.
now, this brings me to a second point, back in final mix where Xemnas calls Aquas armor his friend. weve allways assumed they knew each other somehow, but ven interacting with the xion and xemnas knowing aqua makes me believe that the three knew the organization members, and that the org. knew them. It would have to be after Xemnas was made, becuase he doesnt remember his past life as Xehanort, becuase he lost his memory, he just remembers being ansems apprentice.
So we know that Xigbar, and Xemnas both knew ven, and we know that aqua knows Xigbar and vice versa. somehow.
the more i think about it, the more i think that ansem the wise might have know the three from BBS, and thats how they interacted before. and xigbar is not remember ventus becuase he looks like roxas during 358.

Well Luna, you bring up some good points. Unfortunately we don’tknow the answers yet. BBS should yield many answers to our past questions. It would make sense for the org to know those three.
Well at least we can tell that the wait is comming to an eventual end for those of us like Luna and I who have been around for a while. Good to hear from you btw Luna.
