French scans summarise Kingdom Hearts news
Although this isn’t techncally new news as such, it’s still great to see everything summarised in a time of droubt such as this one! Amongst the various old screenshots are two full-page scans of the artworks for 358/2 Days and Birth by Sleep, both looking great!
As all the images are old, we can only assume that the so-called ‘news’ isn’t anything that us die-hard fans haven’t heard yet. However, if it turns out that anything special is in the translations, we’ll inform you as soon as we know.
Until then, hang in there folks – new media will come soon, Square have simply decided to influx a media-blackout on everything Kingdom Hearts for the time being. We’ll see how things go in the coming weeks…

i was actually looking over the french scan and i came up with that cause it mentioned that the game will explain a bit about mickeys disapearrance as well as why the organization didnt change its name with the 14th member

Well, since it is kh, he almost HAS to make an appearance, it jsut depends on how much he is actually gonna be seen
You know there has been scans of Mickey for all the games. In coded when he sits at his table in disney castle, in Birth by sleep when he is about to fight the DS and in 358/2 days when he seems to be standing in the forest in twillight town and talk to a man in disgise.
I never saw the one for 358/2 Days.

Mickey should appeare on every kh games cause he is like another main character of the game.

sorry again but did you notis that every one on kh has blue eyes.there has to b a big connection btwen Roxas and Ven/they look big time alike.
the anti form for sora is his heartless form trying to take over again.

That was my thought to Reza, I also think it’s because TECHNICALLY Sora is kinda a heartless. Sora is incomplete without Roxas, Roxas is the nobody and Sora is the heartless, sometimes like you said the heartless part of him takes over I guess. And notice that they join in the end of the game so you can’t go anti-form, and also you can use forms in the last battle so it’s possible to go into it. But, you are only able to transform before becoming one with Roxas so it’s impossible to go anti-form because he’s not a heartless anymore. I hope that all makes sense. Again, just a theory.

Why does it sounds like your not listening. Mickey will make appereance in all three games. And he will have a deep meaning in all three of them.
And Bio Sora is complete. He has been complete through all KH2. Roxas holded half of Soras powers inside him but after Roxas meet Sora in the sleeping pod Sora got complete again. The anti-form is just his darkness form. Or what you should call it.
I thought Sora wasn’t complete until the scene towards the end where Roxas revealed himself in a kind of ‘ghost’ form after ‘combining’ with Sora following their battle which Sora sees in his mind.
I’d say that was a pretty good indication that they had joined at that point – the two ‘personalities’ clash and then, finally, Sora reveals himself to be the dominant character of the two and Roxas rejoins with him.
Then again I have played that part since five days after the game came out (lol) so I could be totally wrong…
well, roxas was with him the entire game, sora jsut didnt know it, but all the little references made him realize someone else was there with them, jsut didnt know who. I didnt think it realy mattered if he knew who roxas was or not that mattered with the anti form.
I still stand on my theory.
I think Reza has it. But the problem is what unknowns Roxas accomplished during his time in XIII. His assignments were obviously very specific to his ability to use the keyblade. Axel tagged along to keep him in line initially thus they beccame buddies but Roxas’ missions were to gather hearts for XIII, so when he left XIII tried to get Sora to do the work for them. The question is what stuff did Roxas run into and what did he do besides dust off heartless.

nah reza, its not that at all, in fact the nunchuck is a prety stupid idea. howver the macanics of the game are very differant, some of the new charecters are great and inivative, the new adventure mode is great as well, and the old things with a new twist like classic and event modes make this game great. if you liked the first super smash brothers, and you liked meele then you will definatly need to get brawl.
and trust me its not an opinion based just because im a smash bros fan boy, its fairly written. i would highly sugest trying it.
yeah, i played the original, i loved it, it was fun. But you see, games like, need to take a step ahead, and with fighting games, it needs a huge step. The new story mode does take it up, with the other fighting modes a well, and ill give it that…as well as the new characters. But, that is almost a given, new characters, and modes. But figting games especially, needs something entertaining and new to whatever series it is, that is why the WII in my mind wiht the nunchuck can bring alot of new spects to gaming that we never thought possible

well kingdom hearts could be the keyblades remeber when xehanort got that heart in the sky his keyblade turned ito that so we could get something from that?
I doubt it. I think Xehanort and the chasers were the ones who made the keyblades, not through Kingdom Hearts but to gain access or control of Kingdom Hearts. My theory. The keyblade is a very context sensitve weapon.
Lets go through the keyblades proven functions.
1. Excellent sword.
2. Unlocks any door, ect.
3. Releases peoples hearts from the heartless.
4. Responds to the hearts of all worlds and keyholes.
5. Shifts in form due to attached keychain.
Let me know if I missed anything.

Very good theory, but im not sure if they were the ones to create them or not, but it does raise a good question of who indeed did create them. In fact, Xehanort does sound like a good theory, the chasers helped him with their power, found out they have been tricked, tried to stop him, failed, he released the heartless, with the final energy, the original chasers gave thier powers to the keyblade weilders we know today

Well it could work out with the keyblade thing. Maybe the keychain actually is a heart. Then Master Xehanort released that heart and used it to Kingdom hearts. Also I like that yous too Reza but it seems a bit of a mix up in time. But still its a good theory

i agree with the fact that kingdom hearts might be a bad thing. i mean what a plot twist. say the chasers spent years trying to uncovering and bring forth kingdom hearts, but by doing so they release the heartless, thus berining termoil and peril to the world. now sora riku and kairi are going after kingdom hearts, but mickey is now saying in the letter at the end of KH2 that history is to repeat itself and if sora unlocks kingom hearts then peril will strike the world once more. then the last game could be to destroy kingdom hearts, or the last level of the next platform game.

Well Kingdom Hearts what we know about Kingdom hearts is that its bad. In KH1 it was first to much light for Xehanorts heartless and then it was to much of darkness for Sora. But we dont know who created Kingdom Hearts or if it just was there from the beginning.

i think something thats played part in the game but no one really pays attention to is the keychains.i think they might play a big part in the next few games and matbe alot of the secrets can be solved through them.and i think kingdom hearts is the balance of light and dark and it doesnt really have much control over itself and someone with enough power could destroy the balance which wouldd lead up to kh1 maybe we will find out in bbs.

well we al no in kh3 destiny island is going to be the first place to lock te door in the secret place well just imagen riku sora and kiari were coming back from school then there is somekind of othere student wich has a keyblade to, actually it would be cool to se wakka and tidus again.
Nah I dont like the idea that another young person on destiny island will have a keyblade. But a little bit bigger role for Wakka and Tidus would be nice to see.

Well I think destiny island will have a depper meaning in Birth by sleep.
Destiny islands is alot like twilight town, traverse town, hollow bastion/radient garden…etc. Its a place that either sits in the dark realm, light realm, or somewhere ultimatly in between

yo wouldnt be cool to have kh online and make your own keyblade and custom valor form and person_ but then it would be cornny in a way

Well it would be really nice to create your own keyblade and all that but still I think it doesnt really fit in with an online game. Surte you could make a story for it but still it wouldnt really be Kingdom hearts for me. But still Im sure you coould come up with a good idea but it juts wouldnt feel the same. Also there not many different weapons either and most of the people would surley chose have a keyblade. But I would like to have a game like Star Wars knigts of the old republic wherwe you can chose wich side youre on and customize how you look and all that. But even so it would feel like a copy of it. Maybe not a good idea at all
Im sure if they make a game jsut specific to the keyblade war, they could do an online thing. Create a character, keyblade, armour, that sort of thing, its possible, but just unlikely to think that square would take the time to actually do that when they got so many other projects going on

Im sure all of us thouhgt they were good, that they tried to stop master xehanort, thus leading up to the events of the games we have played. But what if this entire time we were being fed false info? That really, master xehanort was trying to do good…but then the knights stopped him, which way do you think it is working?
Yeah we did talked about this some time ago. It would be a nice twist. Terra did allied hmiself with maleficent even if it was for the best for theprincesses but still. But Mickey fought the Ds after that the ds had defeated Ven. Well avtually I would rather have it this way with Matser Xehanort as the good guy. It would be a really good twist and a bit of a different feeling. But I think that Terra Aqua and Ven are the good guys.

Well, I never really left, it’s just that I haven’t had a reason to stop by in a while.
There’s currently nothing for me to really report on (*cries*), because Square seems to be focused primarily on releasing Crisis Core in the US and teasing us about FF13 related stuff for the time being. They’re also busy synchronising their release dates for the coming years.
What this means is that simultaneous releases from them are going to become very common, in fact they’ll most likely become the status quo. 358/2 Days will be released around the same time in Japan as the US.
But it does mean we have to wait longer for news… ugh…

Yeah, square has alot of prjects that they are trying to release this year with huge succesion. There like golden said crisis core which is sometime this month, as well as XIII, not to mention the last remnant which they are pulling the first simultaneous release in japan and the us, and then there is 358/2 along with BBS…busy year for square.
But with master Xehanort, theres always been this thing called chaotic good. Where, even though the methods are insane, and the ending may be bad, but the reason for them reveal a human side. Like he lost someone important to him and the only way to bring him/her back, is by opening kingdom hearts

sora is probly one of the chasers son or terra. i wonder if mickey was a chaser he knows to much about kingdom hearts or i bet yen sid had apart in the creation and made kingdom hearts into all the key chains and assigned one for each world so heartless could not take kh and also they are atracted to and fear the keyblade which the keyblade has the power to use all the keychains.
mickey’s seal is on the kingdom key,keychain so he probly was a chaser,also my friend granfather works at the nitendo station in japan he will probly know all about it and tell me and ill tell you. his grandfather sent him a prototype of an xbox 180 its a portable xbox no games yet though

I recently visited Khinsider and I found a new article about all the three coming Kh games. Most notible Codeds dinsey world and some scans from BBS with translation.
The Last Remnant isn’t schedueled as the first simultaneous release. Square have decided that simultaneous releases are going to be common now.
Expect the first simultaneous worldwide release to come some time this year (Sigma Harmonics maybe), and if not one of the smaller games this year, then FF13 next year.
The Last Remnant is not something that takes up much of Square’s time anyways – the game is being handled by a small, no-name team, so it doesn’t affect KH or FF in any 100% direct way.

Well, im sure that the last remnant is the first of the rpg genre to do that or something, i know i heard that somehwere just dont remember exactly, i think a gamepro.
But even if the game is handled by another team, it still has the square name, it wont delay much if at all,
so the games are coming in super slow move.
The Last Remnant being released simultaneously isn’t exactly a good thing. It means the team still has the same amount of time to make the game as a normal Square period of 2 years, but they have to do a heck of a lot more in that time – they have to localise it.
This means that about 4 months worth of development is directly chopped off with the same team working on localisation.
In other words, the game will either be short and good or long and bad. Or somewhere in the middle.
The game can be long and good, frankly any rpg that i can beat, or any game for that matter, that i dish out now 55 bucks for, and can beat it in one day, i dont freaking care how awesome the game was. If it has no replay value or bonuses, i would be real freaking pissed

Yeah, 358/2 days is to be released first, then birth by sleep. But neither has come out yet in japan, and the ds game is actually theoried to be released at the end of this year.

Yeppers! Im specail and the book is very good. A country caLLed the Icemark is invaded by a massive army and fights for its life. The main character, Thirrn, has to fight the empire and protect her home, because her father died while try to hold the army for her and her people to escape. She makes Allinces wit Vampiares, Wer-wolfs, and snow leapords. And they all join to stop the massive army, Oh, i left out that she is only 14 years old

Well KH1 was better with that. It was a bit harder than the second one. But beginners mode should be easy but still not to easy. But the hard one should be one you have to struggle to get forward but if you make it to hard you dont wanna play it at the hardest level.
But its possible some keyblade wielders from the past are alive.

Well all what wek now about that is that she lived in Radiant Garden, was a princess of heart and was ended away by Xehanorts heartless to hopefully find the keyblade wielder. So a little bit about her past would be nice to hear.

Well she could possibly be related to him but it seems a little bit to sytrange but still its a big possibility. But we will maybe get to know if there are any other reason they were seletced in BBS.

No, I only have a PS2 and I think GTA IV only comes out on PS3. But I do have GTA San Andreas. I did have GTA III but..um…let’s just say a whole lot of badness happened to the disk……
Yes its still only made for ps3 and 360. But I also loved San Andreas. That is one of my favorite games ever.
