Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days official site/demo confirmed!
At last, some idea of what we will be seeing in two weeks time! Recently I informed you that Square had told us the trailers for the new Kingdom Hearts titles would be once again playing in the Closed Mega Theatre, but what they didn’t tell us was that there will be a 358/2 Days demo for everyone to play!
Yep, you read right – 358/2 Days, the first of the new series to be released, is already going to be playable on December 22/23, and you can be sure footage will turn up online of this! Thanks to KH-Vids, we have a translation of the site’s new content:
“A corner demo booth at Jump Festa 2008 has now been determined. There will be an demo corner for Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days on December 22nd and December 23rd by the Square-Enix Booth. The two modes set up will be a Multiplayer mode for 2-4 people, and a Single Player mode. Also a present (gift) is prepared for those who stop by, so come by all means!”
We’ll update you on the day as to what this mysterious gift will be, and as to how the game is playing. Until then, get ready to see one of Square’s most ancipated games in action!

very nice, and yeah usually a demo is one level taken right out of the game. its not allways the first level tho.

it might just be a level or something…no story. a demo is basically to give you a feel of the gameplay, so there won’t be any dialogue or spoilers really.

and a demos purpose is in fact to raise more questions, beucase that entices you to but the game to answer them.
I don’t usually play demos because I always end up frustrated at the ammount of time allowed.
yeah, same here. i always end up playing demos like 8 times just so i can pretend that there’s more to it. and reza the demo is only playable for now at jump festa, but there may be a demo available next year sometime. i don’t know this for sure, but it seems likely.
Do what now Red Moon?
The demo will probably be like the old FF3 demo from a couple of years back, how the first area of the game will be playable, which will give you a feel for exploring and fighting.
As for the multiplayer, we’ll have to wait and see.
That would be great, but I’ve played demos that I thought were like that, and it then turned out there was a ten minute timer or whatever.

yeah, when i played a demo for timeshift, it was like the second level of hte game. but you got the full level. so yeah.
i hate when they do that timer…it makes me sad. the demo for my beautiful katamari had a 3 min timer and that was it. i cried.
nah the 358/2 demo is a showroom floor demo, so if they have a timer it’ll be something like 20 mins so critics can properly preview it.
Usually though, the player will have finished the level by then, so its not really an issue.
so golden, i know even though its for the ds, and i don remember any if at all demo games being abele to be played by the public outside of these shows, is it possible that us will be able to play the demo some hwo?

Xaldin, definately. I love his skill with those spears. Riku after him but he can’t really compare. Xaldin has dreds.
