Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days out now in Japan!
Well, the long wait is almost over – the first variant of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days has officially hit the streets in its native land of Japan, and reviews are currently rather positive.
As a quick example, Japanese “gaming bible” Famitsu has given it a score of 36 (9/9/9/9), which is a very formidable review from the team’s panel of experts.
I’m sure within the next few days spoilers galore will hit the internet, and for those of you who don’t feel the need to wait until the game is out, a treasure trove of information will await.
As for those of you who have actually imported the Japanese version, well not all of you may be proficient in the language of Japanese, and so you’re in luck, as we’ve found a little help – Kouli of Japanese blogging site Ameblo has uploaded a list of item/accessory translations to help you on your way!
So what do you guys think – add spoilers here as news articles? Or leave it altogether for those of you waiting for the English release? Drop me a line in the comments!

That’s a no brainer Golden. Just add them on to the site as you find them out. Some of us may never get to play the game. I can’t wait to learn more about Xion!
Add them up. But if there are anyone who doesnt want to, add a read more link so everyoen can make their own descision. But I want to know as much as I can
I’ve played the game a little, currently I’m not especially impressed. It’s pretty much all re-used music at this point, which is kinda sad.
Other than that, Xion is just weird… kinda lame storyline for her to be honest. *SPOILERS* she’s basically a doll I guess you could say, and Sora’s memories have ‘fallen’ in to her (I guess during his time in the machine in CoM or something).
I’ve been told the last boss is Riku, and you can’t win the battle, but I’m nowhere near that far yet so I can’t tell I’m afraid.
For the moment I think I’ll continue to add spoilers as I find them here, and then after the game is done I’ll make a big news post with the entire story laid out.
Also, Sora is quite possibly playable – there’ve been leaked clips of him being played as, however I’m being told that’s a hack. So if he is unlockable in the game without hacking etc., I doubt it’s related to the story.

Seems like youre not a big fan (yet?) of the game. According to you it sounds kinda lame. But its Kingdom Hearts and youre just at the beginning of the game, so it will probably be better later in teh game
i doubt thats a hack well because the memory data is in the game chip itself. seeing also that there is no CFW in a Ds it would take a while to make or un-code the game…on the other hand unfortunatly BBS will be hackable with Nitepr and custom M33 firmwear because the code for the game will be in a memory card making it quick and easy to hack.
Unless they put a matrix code on there but there is also a hack for that as well but it take’s a while to use and to even get on a psp.
I was pretty sure the clip wasn’t a hack, however I talked to several people with it, and they said that although it was probable that Sora was playable, the way the video seemed to be playing made it seem like some kind of hacks/system cheats were being used. Who knows? XD
Played a little more today, I’m still not entirely impressed. The graphics are great and the gameplay is very smooth but the day-by-day system is already getting kinda annoying, and I am soooo sick of the scenes eating ice-cream. It’s not as annoying yet as The World Ends With You, but if they don’t mix things up soon I’ll probably give up.
Have you found out anything interestng yet about Xion?
Yea, the ice cream stuff is annoying i think BBS will 2x better.

the thing with sora might just be like a dream, like the visions roxas was seeing back in kh2
I’m on Day 74 currently. The game seems to be erratic though in which day comes next each time. No idea how far in I am XD
erratic like it be day 5 but then the next time something happens is like day 14 or something? i figured they might do soemthing like that rather than going 1 day at a time

i was looking at some videos and it seems the org. members have unlockable easter egg weapons. and the sora gameplay is real i watched the video it said he unlockable online. one thing about the game is that the graphics are very or has alot of blocks/pixels showing but you can be duel roxas, what is sweet!!!

Yeah there’s a couple of occasions where it skips days. Also, there’s no day 1, it suddenly starts at day 7. The game actually begins at Day 255 but suddenly rewinds back to Day 7.
Saix is the one usually giving you your missions, I have no idea why he’s mysteriously more important though. XD
hey golden, dont know if you wanted to make a new post for this or not, but within the past 10 minutes, just annoucned at e3 for nintendos conference, 358/2 days has an american release of september 29th
