My Kingdom for 358/2 Hearts and a cover!
I’ll admit, that title was confusing. However it seems that the Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days box art has officially hit the nets, and I thought I’d update you guys!
Kinda unsurprising, seeing as we’d seen the artwork before, but nevertheless it’s looking really great. Hopefully the west will get the same, or else something of equal quality. Only time will tell, I guess.
In other news, Neverland is a confirmed world in 358/2 Days, Robin Atkin Downes (Luxord) and Shanelle Gray (Larxene) will be officially returning to the English cast for the game and various videos are available on Youtube. Enjoy!
Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days will be releasing on Nintendo’s DS across Japan on May 30, 2009. No official word on the English release yet.

What do all of you guys think the big news are? Personally I believe they will announce KH3 as a title. Since some info on BBS and/or 358/2 days doesnt fit in as big and special news I believe it sounds most fair. And it might be becasue Im an optimist, but I dont really think its some bad news either.
im pretty sure its just a release date. i dont think anything for KH3 will be released until after BBS and 358 are out.
well i dont know what could nomura would say but it wont be bad news as far as im concern if they are to be bad news then :(

I doubt that the announcement will be about Kingdom Hearts 3 but, I am a strong beliver that one day there will be a Kingdom Hearts 3.
If he wouldve said we got an announcement for where KH is going, then i would think that it would be an american release date for 358/2 days or even for BBS, but he said major announcement. Major usually means theres gonna be alot of people liking and not liking the announcement.
Quite frankly, id rather not get ahead of my self, but i think i will be an announcement of “KH3″, either that it will be the last game, when they will start production, or maybe even going to multiple systems

Hope kingdom hearts does go on xbow, like they put the new ff on xbox i just dont think xbox deserves KH and doesnt look right on it.
Yeah, if Tetsuya Nomura makes a Kingdom Hearts 3, I believe it will be for PS3. Kingdom Hearts 3 is one of the reasons I got a PS3.
agreed. it really depends on how bad xbox is doing at the time, because nomura will give it to them if he things he can make a large profit by puting it on xbox. otherwise, it will most likely stay with Ps3, becuase its allways been for sony, save for 358.

well, off that april fools subject i think that will not be the cover nomura usally makes hollow graphic cover’s but maybe he will make that design hollow graphic you never know.
That graphic looks alot like Kingdom Hearts II so, I don’t think that will ever be the cover for Kingdom Hearts III. If you notice, Tetsuya Nomura makes a new logo design for every new kingdom Hearts game, besisides, that was such a fake logo that was only intended for an April fools joke.

not me. im pretty stumped. i think when the title is revealed, its going to be something thats not as literal as everyone was taking it. like birth is going to mean a revelation or something stupid like that. and when three differant interpretations of each word comes together its going to make sense, but so far, i havent been able to come up with anything that made sense. maybe that plus the content of hte game. idk
i dont know maybe it has to do with reincarnation when you go to sleep (die) you are reincarnated (birth) and ven dies or gets erased and comes back as roxas.
A stupid theorie in my opinion.
Well, lets look at it this way. The room that sora was in at the end of CoM, wasnt that the room of sleep? Sora, Goofy, and Donald, all 3 of them went to sleep, as Namine worked her magic in order to put their “chains” or links of their memories back together. I guess you can consider that as being born, because before hand, Sora knew nothing of the life he was going to have. When he awoke, he was a whole new person, though he was the person that he was before CoM, he was different from when he woke compared to when he went to sleep, same with goofy and donald.
So birth by sleep could quite frankly mean getting a new life or memories from one of those sleep chambers. The only problem with that is that Namine was not born yet…we think. Namine was created near the end of KH, and since BBS takes place a good 10 years before KH, Namine could not play with peoples memories. Thats not to say that Namine is the only one to be able to use this kind of power, but even DiZ, ansem the wise, to believed this to be a one of a kind power
Well yea, and in KH2 when you examine the sleep pod’s sora say’s they have been used before. but i like a surprise and can’t wait to find out about the game, i want to play BBS more than 358/2 i might get to play 358/2 but on my little sisters DS, plus its pink but hey as long as i can play it im good.

So, finally beat soras story for recom last night, and is now working on Rikus. I absolutly love the new combos they put in for Riku, it is quite amazing
I beat Riku’s story in one day. It takes a lot less time to complete his story; it’s kind of sad actually. But the difficulty of the bosses is a little harder.
yes the difficultys are bigger and well nothing here i got no new theories

Riku’s side was more enjoyable, but i was just playing KH2 and when you go into namines room pres s select for first person view and look at the drawings, axel standing at the door at yen sids tower? weird and the libary the table has three circles one circle has heartless symbol next one has org 13 symbol and roxas draws the or a crown symbol in the third, i dont know why but, i think sora’s chain symbolizes somthing.
sorry for double, but i wonder why in KH2, Axel says “see you in the next life”, Roxas:”yea you too”, but then axel says “well just because you have a second life”..? wonder what thats means?

to keyblade, the 3rd symbol that was drawn is the unbirth symbol, not sure if that has been confirmed or not, but that is what we take it is, as far as yensids tower, dont remember that, not saying it isnt there, i just dont remember, and really dont feel like playing for a 10th plus time to see just that.
Now to the comment that Axel made to Roxas, that is in reference to Roxas being soras nobody and will soon join with him. THough, now that i think about it, i think that conversation came when axel and sora fought the dusks together? In that case that would be just cause maybe they thought sora would be reborn but axel cant just cause hes a nobody.
I agree, Rikus story i a little easy, it does take out the whole deck building from sora, thats what makes it easier i think. Org, the card duel system, you know the first enemy you came across that is needed a 7 card break? even the org member i fought was only a 5 break
RE:COM was ok, i was not a big fan of the cards but learned to like it.
i liked recom. it was good, but, the sevens come against ansem in the end. his highest is a 7. if i remember right.
and it was indeed when axel fights roxas in the basement of the mansion. and it was reffering to roxas joining with sora, but that axel has no one to join with.

Actually, the third symbol was a crown. Anyway, any of you heard Uatadas new album? Its actually really good and there is a chance both KH songs will appear as bonus tracks. I really need to hear some great news soon, haha

when the game its sora having those strange dreams to get kinda trained so i dont get it if sora gets does dreams and riku is choosen why is he having the dreams for and then riku gets choosen
i know that you guys said that for the light that came out thats how sora got the key but i still dont fully concorde with the story
Riku was supposed to be the chosen one but he had to much darkness in him. He can wield a keyblade but just isnt the master. also what strange dreams the ones in the begining of KH1 i suppose. He had them because he was about to become the keyblade master. but that dosent make sense because Nomura said it happened at the last second, maybe Nomura was trying to trick us. Sora and Riku did eveything together, which means Riku shouldnt really have much more darkness in him. we will find out in BBS hopfully.
I dont really know. But Sora was going to be a different wielder before the change. So maybe its something all wielders go through before they obtain the keyblade.

He got a different keyblade, one from the twilight realm. He was always destined to a wielder, he just happened to choose a difficult-ass path to go about doing so.
Sora was intended to be a wielder as well although I can only speculate as to what realm was initially set aside for him. The dreams of the Dive to the Heart are for Keyblade Wielders or those about to become wielders, note Roxas’ loss of previous memory in Ansem’s computer world and how he had his Dive to the Heart when he came back in contact with his true weapon.
Now I would also point out that it makes sense that Riku and Sora would both be wielders, I just think Riku was more mature and prepared for the responsability earlier since he was older, for example he saw the keyhole in the door of the secret cave before Sora could. Sora was just not ready yet.
However at the World That Never Was once Sora and Riku both started wielding their keyblades, their timeless friendship allowed them to be in perfect sync. Wielding their powers in tandem which was the ultimate goal of them being chosen I think.
My I have a summary of what is being disscused?
we were disscussing about the keyblade masters, how sora and riku got there keyblade.

The wait is almost over, but I believe we’ve figured out just about as much as we can. Nomura always likes to throw us a curveball, theres always some variable we can’t account for so patience is all we can really hope fpr right now.
I dont know if this was talked about. But Riku was VERY mature. His dark unlocked his keyblade. I believe in the past, that there was some dark Keyblade master as a ancestor of Riku. Sora is chosen. He is “speical” I think this explaination is good.
The new game is very far away for me. About five months yet…. X(
Oh well. But the new DSI for KH should make the wait TOTALLY worth it!

The cover might be a little dull, nomura doesnt have much room to work with.
I still strongly believe that Terra and Sora are related by blood because of their hair and eye color. The simularities were to close to ignore, thoughunder that line of theories shared by Luna and myself that would mean Sora is obscurely related to Xehanort. Dan dun dun!!
Dive, I think that would be better if not by blood. That just makes the story go werid. And eye color is not that big…anyone else have blue?! Well that doesnt mean their related to me. Well, spiky hair and blue eyes are probably the of the most common things in FF and thereby also KH. So you need something more to convince me that they are related by blood.
And the cover isnt an April-fool. It isnt said its the official either, but its the box Golden got when he gained the game
When Kingdom hearts had a masssite for all the new titles coming up they had some profileshots of all the main characters, For KH II Sora was shown with his head facing slightly to the left with brown hair and Blue eyes, the exact same eyes(not just color but pupils and everything) as Kairi and Roxas. And for BBS’s profile shot of Terra, he was shown facing to the left with the exact same stare as Sora, eye color and all.
And I think attributing Riku to Terra would be too obvious for Nomura, they’re both the more skilled and mature members of their trios but thats as far as they go together if you ask me. Considering Ven’s memtioning how he needs to be erased, I suspect he may be an unbirth or something instead of being related to Sora himself. Sorry for the double post.

Cause Yellow Eye color is the calling card of the Powers of Darkness. I’ve made my theories regarding Terra, his eye color and the whole lot clear. Just filter back a few posts to find out where I stand.

just a small theorie but what if when you become a heartless a nobody and a unbirth is created. so sora may have a hidden unbirth and that maybe the plot to kh3 but i doubt that will happen also terra ven and aqua may have nobodies running around and posibly an unbirh.
What if when a person turns into a heartless a nobody is also created so sora may have an unbirth running around and that maybe the plot of KH3…but i doubt it, and also Terra, Ven and aqua may also have an unbirth and a nobody. Nomura said “The Unbirth possess some sort of connection to Heartless and the Nobodies of the main series” and also said “They are, in essence, the opposite of human life.”

Heartless started appear after the unbirth, so that theory doesnt fit in.
Watch how the unbirths appear. They appear the same way the heartless do. I wonder what the connection is?
