New Kingdom Hearts updates
OK, there’s a bit to talk about here, and a bit to show, so take a deep breath, and lets all try and work together on this one! The crux of this article will be about a new interview with Nomura, but we’ll also show you some HD pics, and some footage from 358/2 Days!
On the topic of Coded, secrets have been revealed – the game began its life with Nomura in a drunken stupor talking with Tabata at around midnight in the offices: he eventually had the idea of making a game like a ‘playground’ for gamers, similar to Disneyland itself, and then they started planning the title on a nearby whiteboard. From the playground idea, Nomura eventually decided to make the idea into a Kingdom Hearts title, and so now we have Coded.
As for the game itself, well we can confirm that the game will have a multiplayer mode of sorts – Nomura states that “If Player B’s world is in trouble nearby, then Player A can go and help them”, reminding us that theme parks aren’t ‘single player’ experiences! With the story, he’s decided that the events of the game will effect the real world in some way, and that the plot will be quite important overall, but players need not find themselves playing it unless they want to. The battle system is also not completely finished, as the team is still working on the finer details, but they have confirmed it will be centering around the defeat of ‘data bugs’, and the ‘true enemy’ of Coded, which apparently isn’t the Heartless…
358/2 Days got a lot of coverage, and many story details were hinted at – apparently, one of the Organization members will ‘fade’ during the storyline, and since we know the fates of all the other members, it’s safe to say that XIV will disappear, confirming a part of my earlier theory. As for who she is, this will be explained, along with why the Organization never changed their name although they had her onboard. Apart from that, most things we knew – the story will be quite sad, the Riku vs Roxas fight will be in the game, and the true meaning of the title will be revealed only to those who finish the game…
Oh, and there’ll be a mission that focuses on playing as Xemnas.
Birth by Sleep had the least new content – Nomura reminds us that this title will have to be paused for a while so that they can focus on the other titles that need to be released first, and feels sad that sales are a factor in which order he gets to develop the titles. With the story, he reassures us that it is comprised of three scenarios that are all available from the game’s outset, focusing on Terra, Ven(tus) and Aqua, and playing through them all “feels like three different games”.
Lastly, he reminds us that the gameplay and the levelling up system are new and revamped, and that they are considering some kind of multiplayer. He also reassures us that the Disney worlds will all be subject to a timeshift and that the characters will all be younger.

And so, after all that, I can safely say that we’ve got one heck of a nice little update here. To finish all of this, I would like to say a big “Hi” to a certain Ash Barnes, whom we have recently found again after six months of missing correspondance. He’s currently unable to gain access to the internet, but will hopefully return to us someday to help the KHG project go ahead. Anyways, great to know you’re safe and sound!

Yes very interesting. Cant wait until the next interwiev or Jump Fiesta for more info. But its a shame that Birth by sleep have to wait. That was the game I looked most forward to. But I have to admit 358/2 days is getting more and more interesting. But its a shame that I dont have a ds or a psp. But my sis have a ds so maybe I can convince her that I can borrow it for a little while

Because then they would always be together, and she says that sora has a promise to kiri, does that mean why she is kiri’s unknown?

OK, question time:
Firstly, the theme park quote is how the game will *feel* – he means the worlds etc will be set out with mini-games and other fun kinda set-pieces that are easy for players to access…
It doesn’t *literally* mean its set in a themepark though, lol!
As for Twilight Town, from what we can tell that’ll be the hub world, and some other areas will be eventually found, but its unclear whether these are full worlds or just other part of the Twilight Town ‘world’.
well yeah i kinda figured it wasnt actually gonna be a theme park game, my badm but more or less had the overall feel witht he minigames and such, it sounds quite interesting to how there gonna use this

well, mini games are fun and all, but you need a main story, and i still think there gonna come through and give a solid story line with twhat they got to work with
I really hope there will be a good story line, it’s hard to imagine Nomura doing a project without one, or onw without a good storyline.
well, i cant imagine your just going to run around playing minigames, im guessing theyll be important for something, but still, that just doesnt sound fun to me.
I guess thats why that made the game for the cells, cause that all its gonna be is mini games, but im still gonna play it…hopefully

Thats the problem with the phone type game, he just cant make it for one carrier or type fo phone, if hes gonna bring them to cells, he has to adapt the game for all of them
A game with just minigames. No thanks. I dont really like minigames very much. But there will hopefully be a good storyline.
Yeah I hope that I can afford a phone that can play coded. But Ive planed to get a new phone during the time it should be released. Well ive also planed to get a lot of things in the nearest future so we see how that works out.
The one thing you have to remember though that will change alot of things is that….

You cant expect this huge elaborate Kh2 storyline on a cell phone, mini games are the perfect tign for the phone in my mind
Ah jeese, no one’s really getting this. Sure there’ll be a couple of minigames here and there, but what I’m primarily meaning is events.
The game will probably be a lot more event-based, a lot more fun kinda environmental interactions the player can take (like tree-surfing in KH1, but many other thinks with similar implementation.)
I’m still not sure how to explain it, except that its a carnivale type atmosphere…
Hehe Golden. Well all we can hope is that Nomura make it a good game and that its fun to play. Then I hope theres a phone close to me that can play coded so I can buy it. But Mostly I wait for BBS.

agreed Reza, i understsand that the armor in the room in hallow bastion was aquas armor but that doesnt mean thats shes currently there. IN all truthfullness, there wasnt even a body, it was just armor, so Aqua herself is not currently there. thats what i was talkinga bout

My theory…Old guy corrupts Xehanort with power of Darkness, Xehanort falls into darkness and pisses off other chasers.
This is assuming that Xehanort is one of the four chasers/soldiers.That would explain the nature of Xemnas’ outfit on the Dragon Throne thing.
There had ought be four chasers I believe because of the four pathways form the secret trailer at the end of regular KH II. I belive they represent the Dawn, Twilight, Dark, and Light. The Chasers would have a corresponding path and My guess is that Terra was initially Dark, Aqua: Light, Ven: Twilight, and Xehanort: Dawn, but he got caught up in the Darkness and #$&*ed everything up. That could explain Terra’s yellow eyes at the end of the Secret Trailer because all that use the Dark Power generally end up with yellow eyes like the Old Guy.
This explains the Heartless “Ansem the Seeker of Darkness’s†outfit simularity to The old guys as well as Riku’s power of darkness outfit in KH1. Other chasers fight Old Guy & Xehanort and are beaten as shown. But then Mickey shows up with the Keyblade that chose him but not the Dark Realm Keyblade. Also shown in Final Mix secret trailer. Xehanort is utterly messed up from the conflict obtaining amnesia and winding up in Radiant Garden. Maybe got there through the power of Kingdom Hearts or a Pathway through the Dark since all that pass through have some tendency to use Dark Power, Even Sora ex. Anti Form. Xehanort probably regains memories perhaps after making Chamber of Sleep and decides to have his little coup against Ansem with his other buddies like Inzo and whoever.
I posted this theory on the Final Mix forum but I updated it a little since then. I would bet my Liver that Ven has at least a blood relation to Sora if he isn’t his long lost older brother or dad or something. Also bet that Aqua and Ven had fling or something. They kinda had a moment in that big fight.
Maybe Terra is related to Riku explaining his suceptabiliy(Probably spelled that wrong) to Dark Power, and maybe Aqua is related to Kairi, thats probably more unlikly but I am adamant that Ven and Sora are Blood Relatives.

about final mix plus, whatever you heard on you tube was obviously specialtion from when the game was just out. but no, it will not be coming to the Us for any system, it is strictly japanese.
nope dive, guess what, after 5 years, the first final mix is gonna finnaly be released outside of japan, on top of that, you can just ignore every site that said that final mix was exclusive to japan only, cause you know, what does egm, jump magazine, and ign now anyways?

Well Final mix is japanese only but they believe in the future it will be released outside Japan.
And the the video leak was Nintendo when they presented what games that should come out 2008.
Oh yes and there is some new scnas for 358/2 days. two of theme was one Mickey and he talked to someone in a black hood.

Well actually no one cans but you have to bit yourself in the lip and go forward.
KH1 Final Mix was already pretty much released outside of Japan – we just know of it as Kingdom Hearts.
Basically, the JPN version was made, Square localised it and along the way added heaps of new things, then Japan wanted to hear the English voice-overs and play the extra options so they made Final Mix, which included everything we had, plus the Xehanort battle, Deep Dive and a couple of other little things (like an extra cutscene with Cloud and Sephiroth).

well we didnt get the xehanort battle, i wouldve loved to fight that one, and i heard that the version we got and final mix for the first game wasnt all that different anyways, is 2 that would be the most likely to be brought over, then again it wont.
But hope, i can easily get it, i found this site where i can buy the version and this magic swap thing so i can play foregin games on my ps2 if i wanted to spend a total of almsot 150 dollars
yeah, i found one of those for about 90 bucks, but decided that i dont wanna spend that much just to play practically the same game with a few extra things.
well go to a site and just watch clips and read info about it, and when you have extra $cash$ then get the game! i just bought KH2 and i want to beat it again, I have KH1, KH2, KH com! Awesome! Im so pumped for the new games coming out, they will be M-azaing! lol

A Japanese magazine known as Gemaga, similar to that of Famitsu, has recently published an article on their blog that tells what’s to come in their December issue of the magazine. Not only do they tell us that there will be a five hour long video of the various promotional trailers presented at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, but also a video which they title “Kingdom Hearts New Projects” will accessible to the public! All these promotional trailers will be packed into a nice and juicy CD which will be attached to the December issue. Be excited, fellow KH fans, we will be able to see a full length, decent quality Kingdom Hearts trailer soon! Here’s what Gemaga has to say about it:
“Promotional Videos were collected one after another in the Tokyo Game Show, the DVD will contain over 130 Games, and will be about five hours worth of trailers in total. There are some trailers that have been enhanced, and some not opened to the public such as Xbox 360′s “Lost Odyssey”. Also there is an interview with Mr/Ms Sakaguchi who will be explaining the view points. Fabula Nova Crystallis FFXIII, and the original PV (Note: Promotional Video) of “Kingdom Hearts New Projects” will be published.”

Technically it’s only one video – it’s just the PV (Promo Video) that was shown at TGS that features all three trailers tagged together.
By the way Dive, the magazine is called Gemaga, which is short for ‘Gemu Magazi-nu’ or ‘Game Magazine’.
Hence, we’d call it ‘Gamag’ in the West if we had our own version, but that would be a little… controversial seeing as it would pretty much be read as ‘Gaymag’…

I figure they would just try to manipulate her like Saix did to Sora to collect hearts. Assuming she had her Keyblade thing at this time. Otherwise I don’t know what to think…
yeah, i agree with dive. your theory seems to have alot of holes in it. First off, they wouldent accept her if she wants a nobody, second just because Xemnas knows her doesnt mean its because she was in the org. and third theres no telling how long theve been around. but it cant be ten years. there would be too much time unnacounted for inbetween Kh2 and then. The whole ansem the wise/diz thing wouldent work.
Luna is totally right. Aquas armor and Xemnas calling it old friend is just that maybe he started to remeber his past and Aqua was his opponent.
But remember, the only reason the Org can access their life before they turned into nobodies was because of Namine and being able to control memories.

Hey, we all have to pitch ideas and some just don’t take off. Hate is the wrong word. What I bet happened is Aqua got wise of XIII and tried to shut ‘em down like Ansem but got taken out in the White Room where she was last shown in KH II FM. If you look at it that way its doubly nostalgiac when Xemnas finds her there while he’s “recollecting” his past…Maybe…
We can safely assume that the Chasers were all but destroyed exempting Terra because he was waiting at Sunset Horizons and fought Sora. That only leaves Ven. My money is he went back to Destiny Islands to parent his kid, “cough” “cough” Sora “cough” That would mean that he already had Sora before he went to fight Xehanort however because Sora was 14-15 years old in KH I so he’d be about 5. Around the same time Riku noticed the Keyhole in the door to the Heart of the Destiny Islands. Coincidence?
First off sora, relax, we dont hate you, theories are always welcome, its just that some theories cant be furthered except for hope. Sometimes thats all you need, if you want to believe that aqua is the 14th member, go right ahead.
And dive, i dont know why, but when i saw sora and chaser in your paragraph, that got me thinking. No real basis for this whatsoever, just a random thought. But why before BBS, have we not heard of these chasers before? How did they die out? Are they hiding or destroyed? Now, this could explain the odd reasoning to why sora has a special nobody besides being the keyblade weilder, as well as Kairi.
What if the last of these “chasers” are sora, kairi, and riku? Once again no real basis on this theory, any thoughts from my bretheren?
What I believe is that Sora, Riku, and Kairi are the offspring of the chasers. It would just be cool dramatically. However it should be noted that Kairi is initially from Hollow Bastion so that has to e taken into account. Technically, she’s a refugee like Leon and Yuffie. However Sora and Riku were still on Destiny Island around the time *#$% started to go down in Sunset Horizons and it would make sense that those conflicts planted the “seed” of Xehanort, the Student of Ansem. That’s why Riku could see the Keyhole in the Door to the Heart of the Destiny Islands as shon in the flashbacks in KH I. Riku was chosen by the Keyblade of the Light Realm but always had an affinity for the Dark because in my belief, he is terra’s son who was a Chaser representative of the Dark Realm.
I belive Terra was from the dark realm because of the four paths in Sunset Horizons and how his eyes began to glow yellow, a sign of the power of Darkness. The power of darkness isn’t inheirently bad, just easily misused and as Mickey said “Scary”.
The conflict between the Chasers and Master Xehanort would have made Kairi have to leave Radiant Garden even before the second Xehanort messed up Ansem with his coup. The resulting Nobodys would found XIII and use Namine in the Chamber of Memories in Xehanort’s lab. My bet is they knew they would lose their memories once becoming knowbodies so they made the Chamber beneath their Heartless producer and saved all thir files in tron’s computer. second, your theorys sound great, all for one thing, we can assume in the picture that roxas cant be over the age of like 25, becuase he looks as old as sora, and if terra whos the same age when he sees riku and sora little version, as when hes with ven, that that would mean that sora and riku were born when Ven was between 14-25. why would ven be having kids that young?

Fact: Ven is shown at the Destiny Islands, and this is around the time Riku noticed the keyhole in the door in their cave.
The conflict between the Chasers and Master Xehanort would have messed up Ansem with young Xehanort’s coup. The resulting Nobodys would found XIII and use Namine in the Chamber of Memories in Xehanort’s lab. My bet is they knew they would lose their memories once becoming knowbodies so they made the Chamber beneath their Heartless producer and saved all thir files in tron’s computer. Not really. You don’t have to look too far to find your theory. Terra cannot be Sora’s dad. The only thing we do know is that Sora has a mother. What we don’t know is if he has a father or not.

fourth, same thing goes for aqua, she might know Xemnas, but not the org. Just becuase he calls her armor old friend doesnt mean that she is in any way related to the org.

Second, the Xehanort have to be connected. The clothes and the names give it away. Three, Aqua was in the Chamber of Memories. A XIII haunting ground.
Sorry to double post but I was in a hurry. Aqua wound up in the Chamber of Memories beneath the Heartless Maker but who knows when. What we do know is that it was either made by XIII or by the people that became XIII so it can be safely assumed that she knew who they were. Since Xemnas adresses her familiarly it makes sense they knew eachother. He likely knows her due to his recollection of memories thaks either to Namine or the Chamber itself, however the fact that they knew eachother would only cement the connection between Master Xehanort and Xehanort, Student of Ansem. The question is what did Master Xehanort do with Kingdom Hearts? Did Mickey stop him in whatever he was doing?

Yup he is at destiny islands. And Master Xehanort has a connection with Xehanort ansem apprentice. If it is the theory that something happened with Mx and Terra or if its the dark soldier that is Xehanort I dont know.
I have always been confused between “a kingdom hearts” like what we saw in KH2 and “the kingdom hearts”

I also concur that Ven appears on Destiny Island. I know I shot a theory a while back trying to explain the link to Ven and Roxas. I would still like to know. I they are two totally separate people, I just want to know why they look like the same person and dress the same.
What I wager is that nobodies are imprints of people’s hearts. Like a picture of the way they are, not just the real person’s phisical apperance. While the two will be utterly similar the nobody is like the heart’s shadow.
Example: Kairi’s hert was entirely pure thus Namine was in all white. Whereas Roxas kinda had two sides to him. That much was shown in his charcter multiple ways, his dress his keyblades, ect.
My point being I belive Sora’s heart is most similar to Ven so his nobody would be a stark copy. Thats my idea, could be something different. And Luna, wasn’t trying to pick fights back there, I’m just a wee bit snappy when it comes to defending my theories. I’m sure most are…

However just becuase Xemnas referes to aqua as an old friend has nothing to do with her in the org. look at it this way, if Xemnas captured sora and threw him in the chamber of memories for a while. then came back, he might refer to sora as old friend, it could have been sarcasm, they dont actually have to be friends. thats all i was saying. and the dressing is just a major coincidence so far between M.Xehanort and regular Xehanort, becuase theres no actual evidence that says there in any way related, so the only thing we can say for sure is it is coincidence.

But a single person has two entities, the first is how the people see him/her, and what they come across as, and then there is the person on the inside, the true form/being to what that person really is, should be, or wants to be. Nice theory dive, i think that too

Surprises are fun. And I agree again with Sora, Roxas came chronologically after Ven so Roxas does resemble Ven not the other way around. I beg to point out the biggest simalarities between most nobodies and their true selves is their eyes. Kairi and Namine, Sora and Roxas. So I belive Sora is moreso connected to Ven because they have the same “eyes”.

Anyway I use my amazing gifts of speculation because I love stories, specifically fiction so a large period of my passtime is predicting plot material before it occurs, I happen to do so with 90 percent accuracy. I pretty much could have written the Harry Potter series myself after reading the third book, I predicted every single event afterwards.

Sora’s got a point but the symbolism of the wave is almost subconcious so its hard to miss it’s implication. And yes XIII, I am so looking forward to Ace Combat 6. I am actully thinking about it, 3/5ths of all waking moments these days.
Back on track. I had a few questions, Mostly on Hollow Bastion/ Radiant Garden.
In KH 1, Hollow Bastion was just that, a big ass castle that looked corrupted and unmade. In KH 2, the new one is a kinda hodgepodge castle/ boat ship thing. There is also a really run down castle at the end of the valley but which was the one from the first game? If the run down one the heartless issued from in KH2 was it then I don’t know what to do but if it was Ansem’s castle I was going to go back in KH1 and investigate the library and stuff for some clues and such about Xehanort and XIII. Just looking for breadcrumbs, you know.
If anything, try the Ansem Reports first. You’re confusing me. Are you talking about the library in Hollow Bastion because if I recall there isn’t too much info on anything in there. Correct me if I’m wrong. I haven’t played it for a few months so blame if I’m wrong.

Like hell, that would be a twist! If anyone noticed in the abandoned mansion in KH2, models of the castles from Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden are on podiums in the entrance hall. The better models is in Roxas’ computer world. You see the models in the main hall of the Mansion entrance. Why Ansem has them there I couldn’t say. Nostalgia perhaps, but one is an exact replica of the decaying castle in Radiant Garden. That’s mostly why I’m curious. They has to be there for some reason. About the Ansem Reports, the ones from KH 1 are made by Xehanort so I don’t hold a lot of stock in their credibility. I remember organizing the library in Hollow Bastion and I can’t remember the book titles. Seemed important for some reason. At the moment the places I’m investigating are the Destiny Islands, The End of the World, Hollow Bastion/ Radiant Garden, The Old Mansion a little, and mostly the World That Never Was. Those are my hot zones for clues on the new KH games. And Kaze, I would be honored to have Mr. Nomura steal plot material from me.

that makes no sense. i mean you couldent have a mansion there and then build a town around it (theoretically you could but i doubt square would go that far) and if your talking about roxas’ TT then it came with it.

Maybe. I still am preoccupied with obtaining Ace Combat 6 to worry about royalties for plotlines right now though. At any rate I believe exploring the old locations for clues is a good idea and encourage(Like people are gonna listen to me!)folks to go back to areas you think have some history with XIII or the Knights before Sora’s involvement. What I’d like to have is a good layout of the Cavern of Remembrance and the area where you fight the ex XIII members. I Bet there’s something important there. Just remember folks that Radiant garden was XIII’s first base of operations before building the World That Never Was. They were bound to have left some clues of their presence there.

I think if we want any real clues into the next game, I think a lot will be revealed in that new Mobile KH game. I have already done what Dive is doing right now, but there is nothing really more to go on in my opinion. I think “KH3″ maybe a free for all, anything could happen.
I think the the present games that are coming out right now are tying up loose ends. I think if the pattern holds true with what Nomura has done so far, he will probably add a secret trailer to the end of each game.

Good plans, I’m interested in BBS and 358/2 Days. Thats what I’m worried about. It’s all going back to the past. I’m not concerned about a digital Sra or whatever. What I bet will be an issue is the antics of Maleficent and Pete, but they’re not much of a threat especially for Sora and Riku, let alone the “Mickster”. If I remember correctly BBS and 358/2 Days ae for PSP and DS so I’ll check those stompiing grounds for info, if anyone has some good, reliable, relevant sites, hook me up!

Alright, here i go…
The 3 new games that are coming out, we already figured out the timeline of these games, BBS happens before kh1, 358/2 days happens between CoM and Kh2, and finally Coded is after kh2. Now here is the problems with each…
Coded: how long exactly after the events of kh2 is this game taking place? Is it right after and that is the reason why Mickey sent the trio that letter in the ending? If so, what did that letter contain? Something was obviously wrong in the game (coded), like the new enemy that will be found in coded; who is it, and what kind of role will they all play? Are they in league with the organzation before the fall or are they born from something else? 5 questions rise from this game, i wonder how many will lead into the next main game.
358/2 days: Revolves around Roxas and his time in the org. The first question arrises from the title, why 358? are the years in the game different than ours? And roxas said a day, i believe 117 that i will live in this world, 117 is NOT half of 358. Some theorized it was because he was combined with sora early. Another is this 14th member, who is she? and how is she connected to all of it? We all, at least i assume we all eblieve that she isnt important to the story cause we never heard of her, but what if she is a valuable part of the story. If thats the case, what role did she play and we is she no longer in the story? Maybe we can find some interesting background stories of each member and how they became the org. Interesting to say the least. I dont think this game is gonna reveal much about the next game, infact, out of the 3 games, it will probably reveal the least about the next main game. However, because of this, it will reveal much backstory that fill in almost all the story up to this point.
Birth By Sleep: the game alot is waiting for. Ever since the secret kh2 ended, we all though that was the next main game, but we were all wrong. Questions to be answered, why does terra look like xehanort, aqua like kairi, and ven like roxas? Are they family related, only clear sense to why they look soo much alike, or perhaps clones. Who is the enemy that we see in the game as well…there not heartless nor nobodies, so who are they? Are they these dis-souls that we heard about? If this game is before kh1, does that mean we see the orgins of the heartless and the organazation? One video we saw little sora and riku, where is kairi? Radiant garden? what about her grandmother? is she aqua? who freaking knows. Out of the new games, BBS gives us, basically the very beginning of the kh story, which should answer alot about it, like what is kingdom hearts, the realms, etc. This game in itself should answer alot of questions, perhaps the most. It should answer some questions about the new game, perhaps raise even more questions.
Some thoughts come to mind that can be answered in anyone of the games. Dis-souls? Keyblades true power? Doors to other realms? How can all these questions come up with only so little time left in the series? I hope soon these games will show some light on the story, but im sure Nomura will only leave a gap in the story that can only be answerd with this next game, which we can only speculate about…

as i said before what i think is going to happen is that this game is going to tie the ends we have now, and is going to open up one final link, then the three of them will all corolate to each other, and the final game will be three parts, wrapping up both games and then having this war that i think everyone expects to come and then finishing it.

Ansem ruled Radiant Garden from his castle right? And the New Heartless castle in KH 2 was originally Hollow Bastion, right? So why in KH 1 did Kairi’s grandmother tell her the story of the children of light in the library of Hollow Bastion. If they were in Radiant Garden before (or after, for that matter) any of the bad events took place they should be anywhere but inside the Hollow Bastion! Am I right?

The castle is not called hollow bastion, the whole place is, and it was renamed hollow bastion after the heartless took over. the whole thing was once radient garden. Kairis grandmother was telling her the story from inside the castle at Radient garden when ansem the wise was ruler. long before heartless or nobodies or anything like that. so everything bad happened in hollow bastion, and nothing bad happened in radient garden becuase radient garden was renamed after it was taken over by heartless.
Okay Luna, But there were two castles there in KH2. Ansem’s old castle and the one the heartless issued from. Now what I think you’re saying Luna is that You think that the heartless or Maleficent remodeled Ansem’s castle to be the castle from the first game. I believe that the castle at the end of the valley in KH2 that the heartless came from was the delapitated castle from the first game. I simply refer to the castle from the first game as Hollw Basttion and the entire map from KH2 collectivly Radiant Garden. So what has to be the case then is that Kairi and her grandmother were in the library in ANSEM’S CASTLE when they had the flash back. So Sora was in ANSEM’S CASTLE iin the first game. I was originally under the impressionthat the caslte at the end of the deep valley in Radiant Garden was the Hollow Bastion from the first game and had taken abad turn. Now I’m hearing differently.
The castle in the first kh game, and the one that you went to in the second game is the same one, just different parts of the castle. Where ansem the wise study was, was the same castle that you fought malificent in the first game, it is odd to see, but if you look, the simalrities are there. The castle at the end of the long ravine that you can see clearly at the ravine where you fight sephiroth, i believe to be malificents castle
rezas almost one hundred perent right. I dont think the castle at the end of the ravine is maleficents castle, i think its just another side of ansems, im pretty sure its the backside. The multiple casltes your reffering to dive, is all the same castle. it was ansems castle before radient garden changed to hallow bastion, it was meleficents after that, and the two sora was in is the same castle. Its all one castle, there isnt more than one.

Well Nomura planned to show scenes to show what the letter was about. But he changed his mind and ecided to not show it. Also he said he had a plan for how KH3 would be. So I think it wanted to show what KH3 could be about.
Well I agree with sora as far as methods for clue hunting but I personally don’t really think there’s really much to the Kairi/Xehanort thing. Could be wrong, I don’t know. What I’m interested in are the chasers, and XIII. That, I think is the main backbone to the game story.
This isn’t always the case, but what if we’re thinking too hard about this? Call me crazy but hey, you never know……….
i agree with org, we may be reading to much into this. nine times outta ten what happens is people read to much into things, and get going on the totaly wrong path rather than just waiting it out. Nomura is not stupid, hes a trick dude, he could have made it so taht clues you find have nothing to do with the next games, or that you have to one hundred percent break them dwn, and their obvious meaning leads you astray.
as for the letter, its not the plotline of BBS becuase bbs happens ten years before our heros even get hte letter. now the letter could be a recap of what happened, in that case i agree with you sora that would be well played by nomura.

another physchology lesson, if you were to make finding these clues a quest, then your mind would do two things, it would begin to over analyzing things that werent meant to be anything, like an extra painting in agrabah, and your mind wuld tear that apart leaving you in the wrong direction, or you would begin to see things that werent actually there, like in the castle where you fought melifcent, you would begin to see drawings that arent there, or drawings that differ from whats actually there. its better now to just take a break.

Ace Combat 6 seems to be quite a thriller. Too bad that it didn’t come out for the PS2 or 3. I have just about every Ace Combat game there is execpt for this one. Aw man………
i dont really have much of an intrest for that one. i want assassins creed, and super mario galaxy. along with Dynasty warriors, and Rock band.
The Ace Combat games tend to have killer soundtracks, Keiki Kobayashi kicks ass. That was even an alliteration! Anyway, small mummers about Sora or a square enix character showing up on Brawl. Not likely to happen I say. Would be cool though, I’m already going to be a neast in that game as the supersonic hedgehog is completely on board for the project. Eagl, its super smash brothers brawl, and what you do is basically fight with each other using various nintendo charecters like mario and Link. pretty simple.

Yeah, the Smash Bros. series is pretty good because you can’t upgrade your characters or nothin, it just comes down to skill. But the game is really easy to learn how to play and really fun. The different characters have different strengths like speed, power, special techniques ect. Sonic vs. Mario…who wins?
its hard to say, i dont think weve heard either of their abilities, so there an equal match besides sonics speed. if we knew some specials then we could tell.
Mario is experienced with pyrotechnics…nd size manipulation. Besides that I’d say their characters are similar. Both have evil twins, Wario and Shadow. Both have girlfriends Peach and Amy. Both have power-ups. Coins vs. Rings, Stars vs. Chaos Emeralds. But Mario has a cool hat.

Actually Dive, Amy is just a close friend of Sonic’s. There is not real romance there. In we were to look at the comic books, Sonic has had three actual “girlfriends” so to speak. Sally Acorn, Mina Mongoose and Fiona Fox. Of course the three, Sally would be considered the primary love interest.

It is obvious that Tirition is a Tolkien fan, as am I. In the Lord of the Rings elves are immortal as well as resitant to disease and fatigue. Tirion was one of their cheif capital cities from the Silmarilion, hence his name, Still Tirition, that was awful random…

Ok. Before I say anything I am not new I have just been away for a very long time.
One thing that I have wanted to know for a very long time is what was on the letter from KH1.I know that we cant know for sure about the one from the end of KH2 but we went through com and KH2 and still dont know what was on the first letter and now nomura gives us another one to worry about.
Also if the enemies from BBS arent going to be heartless or nobodies than what are they, I mean if heartless are the hearts, and nobodies are the body and mind, then does that mean that the new enemies are the soul, I really need to know I’ll take pretty much anything. sry gor the multiple post (^_^).

tirition, its a little island that is close to the mainland, we dont see it in kh1, but it is assumed they lived close by. In kh2, we actually see kairi and sophia on the mainland looking out to the island, so its not like it was far away from home

i got the full game of dynasty warriors a while back, and i agree with Dive, its awesome. Pretty fun stuff. I also just got rock band, which is pretty good, im not to impressed with the set list, but its very creative playing the instraments. if you have some extra cash and like the GH series, i recomend getting it. i want assassins creed but so far my budget is not allowing that.

Hey everyone, I just got my GameInformer magazine yesterday and they have a couple of things in there about “Birth by Sleep” and ” three five eight over two days.”They said that 358/2 is going to have four-player coop mode and may have an online mode (not confirmed). All members of the Org are playable.
In “Birth by Sleep” we can control all three characters at different times through out the story. This will also have a more advanced card system as well.
There was also advertising for new KH trading cards too.
Hope that quenches some poeple’s thirst.

Reza, as to your query, the main page wasn’t updating for you because you have some setting in your browser switched to off… something to do with the cache.
Basically, you visit the site once and then nothing new in the way of news happens during the week, but there are more comments. The cache setting however doesn’t see anything important, and so doesn’t waste those extra few hundred kilobytes downloading the whole front page again just to change the number of comments, so it leaves it.
Once you’ve posted a new comment though, the browser sees that as important (since you’ve had actual imput into the front page), hence it re-downloads it.
Sadly though, I dunno how to turn this setting off – are you using Internet Explorer?

as for his island, i think its irrelivant to what its like, its a tropical island, so i guessing that its got like huts for houses and stuff. and im guessing theres no shops becuase tehy collect everything on their own.
as for the other worlds, you actually get more of a glimps than you think, for example, theres certain parts of worlds in each game (e.g the caves in agrabah are in the first, but not the second, and the second has the town center thing leading to the castle but not the first) so we get doubble the view of each world with two games, and we also have the movies that these worlds origonated from like the dungon in the movie Aladdin that wasnt in the games. so we actually do see a whole world, just not all at once.

Yeah, there isnt much to the island i believe, the island that we were on when in KH seemed exactly like we saw, peaceful tropical island. The place we saw from Kairi’s and Sophia’s view, it was more than just an island, It seems to me like it was a small city or a town, a place where everyone looks out for another.
But im sure the islands are something more than what we give it credit for. It seems to me his islands are like what traverse town, twilight town, radiant garden is like. Its a special place that has no real alliance with the light or dark, maybe one with the dusk/dawn or twilight worlds
Well the islands we were on at the beginning of KH1, in my view, was kinda like the “hang out” island for the kids. And then the main island, the one in KH2 is obviously where everyone lives and apparently where the school is so yeah.

I may be saying the same thing but we’re basically seeing different parts of the worlds we’ve already been to. I think that makes sense.
Hey, wat if soras home is destroyed be the heartless? And every time sora beat and sealed a key hole, more of his island was build, but anyone on the segment of the island that disappered comes back and doesnt remmber any thing that happend when they were gone.
That would be weird, but in KH1 There island gets torn apart by darkness, what confuses me about riku is why would he choose darkness to escape the island, or didnt he know? This is just my thoughts
he didnt choose darkness persay, it in a sense chose him, he just decided to go with it, becuase as he said it “im not afraid of the darkness” he basically just let it do what it wanted with him, beucase it was a means of getting off the island, so he did choose it, but he didnt intend to at the start. i know its confusing, ill try and reword it.

i can skateboard but i dont. I drive, so skateboarding unless for fun is pointless, and idont think its that fun. so i dont do it. and i was on my Varsity swim team as a freshmen, it was dumb, i hated it. but i can swim and do at my grandmas house in the summertime.
