Nintendo Dream on Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days
The March ’08 issue of Nintendo Dream, a Nintendo-centric publication, has a short interview with Nomura himself, in which he reveals a few new words of wisdom!
Firstly, he mentions that the controls featured at the Jump Festa 2008 demo have been highly revised, and now feel “much better”. What this means is currently unclear, but we’ll wait and see…
Apparently, some new images of the game are featured: one that shows Kairi and Riku together, and another showing… Riku as a boss!!! This probably means we’ll get to play the scene from ‘Deep Dive’!
Lastly, the DS card’s data capacity came into question, with Nomura revealing that the original plan was to have voices featued throughout the whole game, but the size means it may only be specific scenes. He does mention, however, that they are trying to find a way around that issue, and you know Nomura – he always seems to find a way out of size issues!

I love saix’s montony, and he’s called the lunar deviner, which I think deviner means someone who uses godlike powers. He’s like the only one that gets to go all berserk. But I still like zexion with his flippy hairdo.

Okay I need your opinion now. On Roxas fourth day when you see Kairi for the first time is there a castle shown. According to him you should see it when its a close up on Kairi. So please I need to know what you think. And be honest to me now.
well not really its just a big house that looks like a castle by the way if u go to youtube and type kingdom hearts 2 final kix destiny island u can see sora running around destiny island and there is no castle.
It is likely a government building like a town hall if there actually is one. If not it’s probably just the sillouete of the island that the kids play on. The door still intruiges me. I think it has alot of pertinence for Xehanort, no clue though.

in my opinon “birth by sleep” looks better than “358/2 days” and psp’s have better graphics than ds on some games. but im so excited i cant wait to play. ^¤^

I like a few members. As a whole the concept is awesome. I just get irritated a by a few of the characters. For one I think Luxords character was out of place in the organization. He seemed really independent of all the other members, Xaldin’s definitely my favorite. Awesome dreds, awesome glaives.
Roxas is probably my favorite member. He’s the only one who can wield two keyblades! To me, that makes him the most powerful member there is. I can’t wait for BBS. Oh hey Char, I have a quick question for you. Are we going to not post anymore comments on the page containing 696 comments?
The organization was one of those bad groups that you couldnt hate at all. Maybe a member or two that you jsut disliked, but in the end you just couldnt. Even though they were just nobodies, nomura gave each member his/her own personality that we all just found something to love about each one of them. Whether it was feeling sorry, sympathy, or agreeing on their views

Well yeah I gotta admit Dance water dance got a little bit annoying after a few time but I started to laugh the first time I heard it since it sounded a little bit dorky
um, no teruptis, he was the easiest one out of all them, when i found out that final mix, you had to beat hime with twice as many water things in half the time, i was looking foward to it, cause all the other times i didnt even break a sweat, his first form that i had to beat in a minute or something like that i did in like 20 seconds

I think Birth By Sleep looks cooler then 358/2 days but still I know they will both still be awesome games even though I like nintendo d.s better than p.s.p I still think I will like BBS better, I dont have a p.s.p but I am hopeing I will get one before BBS comes out. The reason I dont have a p.s.p is because I dont like many games for it but I would get one just for BBS……………..and maybe some of the final fantasy games mostly Crisis Core out of the three.

The description says he was the youngest(of course excluding Roxas), but I think he looked older than Larxene. Anyways yeah, it shouldn’t be important for them to say he was the youngest unless he actually looked noticeably younger then em.
it actually does make sense to incluide his age, becuase his views can be somewhat guided by age and lack of experience in certain fields.

Heh, sorry for all the new people arriving guys, we’ve been advertising this place a lot more actively recently, so a few newbies are bound to turn up.
Anyways, the fourteenth member’s weapon isn’t a book – that’s Zexion’s weapon. At the moment, the fourteenth member doesn’t have a confirmed weapon, but she kicks ass in the trailer anyways with some powerful magic. Apparently, she’s stronger than Axel and Roxas combined, so I doubt they killed her as someone suggested.
And yeah, I had HEAPS of trouble with the second Demyx battle the first time I played through on normal. However, currently I’m playing through on Proud and his first battle seemed HEAPS easier than I remember it, so I doubt I’ll have any problems. If I do, well, Mickey seems to come to my aid a lot these days!
i am really hating how much this 14th member is being kept under wraps. I know im just repeating myself, but i know she will be well known in the story. Whether we alread know who she is, or were going to find out soon enough,

Let’s face it. We don’t have enough information on her to figure out what kind of weapon she wields. But to be stronger than Roxas and Axel combined, now that’s what I call supreme power. Do you think she comes close to overpowering Xemnas by any chance?
well yeah xemnas is easier than axel and roxas put together m frienmd has cheats and final mix and we were fighting with axel roxas and xemnas togethere it was hard but we made it through
yeah, just because shes stronger than axle and roxas combined doesnt mean she wasnt killed, it just means she wasnt killed by axel or roxas. The higher memebers are generaly stronger than the lower ones, so saix and Xemnas could prolly make quick work of this 14th member. it wasnt a joke when she said she mighta been killed. your just trying to look good.
Exeptions may be made to that concept, ex. Roxas when he goes dual wielding caus ehe could even beat Axel whoes pretty strong. I think member # 14 is a heavy hitter. They probably wouldn’t have inducted her otherwise unless she had a unique ability like Namine or Roxas.

i dont thinkg so char, i actually have to take a stand against you on this one. The first 6 members i believe, ranked 1-6, was ansem the wise’s apprentices. If they were the first to become and form the organization, then their ranking probably indicates power there. Ansem being the strongest of them, and zexion being the weakest, of those 6 that is.
Then the remaining 7-13, now 14, i believe has nothing to do with power, but induction. Cause, i refuse to believe that when roxas was in the org., that demyx was stronger than him, i will never say it. Now, yes, there is a whole in my plan, the fact that nomura said that after each mission your chair status could increase or decrease depending on how you did.
Witht that said it kinda takes apart my theory, but the whole chair promotion and demotion thing hasnt been wuite worked out
i agree with you to a point. i think that their order was due to their joining status, in fact i know thats correct, ive heard it somewhere before from a creditable source(although i cannot remember where) regardless, i think that if the lower members were in fact stronger than the higher ones, that they would surpass them. nobodies cannot show loyalty, its an emotion, so naturally, they cannot be loyal to someone, say xemnas, i think, if their power was greater that naturally, they would try and overthrow them, and become the leader. however there is no saying htat nomura took this into account. i simply thing, if they were stronger they would attack with a coupple eceptions (roxas being to easy going to want to be the boss.) but think about axel, we see him go against marluxia in COM, he fought against a superior trying to overthrow him. if axel was in a room with xemnas, and he did not think that xemnas was stronger than him, do you not think he would attack xemnas to try and take over. based off our com experience all signs point to yes.
all in all, i think the order as it is now, stays because the lower rankers know they cannot overthrow the higher ones, or simply dont care (like roxas, or even saix who could but doesnt)
Well its obvious that the first 6, s increibly strong, and the remaining member, are a bit down there, but not saying their weak or anything. they are obviously strong, thats why they are in the organization. Just looking at Xemnas’s power, we could all tell that no one in their right mind would even attempt to overthrow them, individuall that is. That is why a group tried to take over. Larxene, Vexen, axel, and marluxia, all tried to become the new leaders of the org., why? maybe well find out in the game. The other 3 in com, laxues, zexion, and…i forget the other one… was in the same boat. I think 358/2 well tell us why they didnt try to overthrow earlier, and who in fact is stronger
vexen was the other one. but still, those lower members, wouldent have gotten very far. im sure even two of the more senior members could have stopeed them.

well thats not entirly true reza. her death may be very paramount into understanding more on the organization. for example, if the organization has hiddn motives aside from what wever seen, and the 14th member was going to release that to the public thus ending in her death, her death still was usefull, beucase it revealed new information. say for example, the org members came back in KH3 thanks to xemnas, and the 14th member knew about this power, and was goign to release it to the heros of said story, she might have to be taken care of in order to keep this a secret and not ruin org 13s plans, howveer her death is still important becuase we learned new informaton through it.
EVen so, if that was the case, then sora would already know of this plan, cause of roxas’s heart and memories. YOu do make a valid point to why if she was dead, to why it was important.
One thing is for sure that we all agree on is that she is important somehow, and if nomura is keeping her identity this tightly wrapped, she has a major part of the story. Her nobody perhaps not, bt maybe even her true self or perhaps even her heartless

Xemnas may have just sent saix out in the middle of hte night to whoop her. or done it himself, and the other members may not have been aware of it.

Xemnas saw ho strong/smart/powerful or whatever the case was, and brought her on, but when he fond out that she was still human and had a heart, he killed/dismissed her because of that and in fear that if she was to get a nobody, that she would return and trt o take im out

one issue reza, why would (given that xemnas can take out the human 14th member) fear her nobody. if xemnas alone could have taken out her nobody, then im sure even if her nobody because all powerfull, that Xemnas and saix could take her down. however its not unlikely tho. she could very easily be a human, but that raises one more question, why would xemnas not be aware of that, hes not stupid. PLUS, Zexion can “smell” the differane between a nobody and a human, i think it highly unlikely that she would go unaware. and if they knew she was human, why would they let her in in the first place.

First off, we know exaclty that Xemnas isnt afraind of anyone, so yeah, syaing that he was afraid of this member was an overstatement, i redraw that part. But its not as much that he is afraid of her power and strength, but her persuasion. He may be powerful, but without being the leader of the organization, he is almost nothing. I’m replaying through Kingdom Hearts again. When I regather all of the Ansem Reports again, I’m going to reanalyze them. Maybe I’ll notice something I didn’t see before. Last time I checked, Minnie hasn’t sent anything to the king while he was journeying. Is it possible that the letter shown is the same one that Sora and the gang on Destiny Islands receive at the end of KH2? Just another random thought I had………
