Nomura goes in-depth on Kingdom Hearts Series!
This one’s a little tough – Nomura decides to go in-depth on some of the more complicated terminology in the Kingdom Hearts series. Rumors and theories ahoy!

Director’s (Nomura’s) Secret Report
About KH Worlds
Presently there are 4 untold stories to consider
I – Until now in the Kingdom Hearts (hereafter KH) Series, there have been 2 types of “Kingdom Hearts” refering to the Heart of Worlds and the Heart of Men, could you explain the mechanics of this?
Think of the basic setting of KH as “All life has a heart”. The heart of a world can be considered the things of nature, for example, the trees in a forest, a sea or river, a flower and so forth, when they all come together to form a world a large heart will come into existence. And concerning the hearts designated to men, all the hearts of humans and animals living in the world are integrated. As for Kingdom Hearts, think of it as if the heart is essentially the culmination of an invisible “Proof of Life”
II – Worlds appear in KH, could you please give an explanation of the means of coming and going between them?
Concerning the structure of worlds, first Sora and the Disney characters, and where ever we dwell, these so called normal worlds are attached to a World of Light. If all of these exist at the same level and you imagine them all sitting on top of a plane, there is also plane of existence on the other side where the World of Darkness exists.
At present, there are 4 worlds in between these planes that have appeared. A) Castle Oblivion, B)Twilight Town, C) Yen Cid’s Tower, and D) The World That Never Was. Constructed in this manner, Light < C < B > A > D > Darkness, you can imagine 2 planes with stairs ranging between the worlds. There are 2 means of transfer between these worlds, first being the Gummi Ship Sora uses in what is called the “Sea of Outer Space”. In this way they can come and go between the worlds dotted through space. There is an invisible shell covering these worlds, so as to preserve the original world from interference from other worlds. By opening the hearts of each of these worlds this shell is broken and will become a group of shooting stars pouring down. Once settled, these shooting stars will become the Gummi Parts of the Gummi Ship. Because they were originally from the shell covering this world, it becomes possible to interfere into each world.
There is one more method, the use of the “Dark Corridor”. There are those who are on a fallen path, essentially not being on the path they should be. Only those who can be said to have a Dark existence or an in between existence can make these doorways. On rare occasion those with particularly strong feelings or hatred, such as the case with Beast and Diz and perhaps others like them can open these paths. However you must be careful when coming into contact with such darkness. As such, if you use these paths too often you will be completely swallowed by darkness. Sora has used these paths several times before, but the degree of frequency hasn’t allowed the darkness to stain his heart, so you can think of the influential power of darkness as being dependent upon the strength of the persons heart.
As for the Nobodies who have no heart and the King and Riku, using these paths many times doesn’t concern them. Why doesn’t the darkness progressively swallow them you ask? There are secret similarities between the two that I talk about within this document.
III – About the World of Darkness and such, you haven’t gone into detail. Could you possible talk about some of these things? Does the beach at the beginning and end of KH have some connection to the World of Darkness?
Presently there are 4 main untold stories to consider. “The period of the King’s absence”, “The period of Riku’s absence”, “Roxas’ time in Organization XIII” and “Xehanort’s past”. In this case, The story of “The period of the King’s absence” is set in the realm of darkness. I am examining a way to tell these 4 stories so I might be able to find a way to tell them soon.
What can be called the dark coastline seen at the beginning and end of Kingdom Hearts II is the tip of a world. It is not strictly part of the realm of darkness but rather what serves as the boundary line in between the dark and the in between. In the ending, Sora and Riku were on the coast on the in between side and were looking at the sea of the realm of darkness. The door visible in the dark sea is a scene that symbolizes “Deep within the darkness, there is light”, as Sora said in the previous KH.
IV – There are still many mysteries surrounding the Castle of Oblivion. Was the castle itself constructed by the Organization and was Naminé originally a subject of the experiments going on there? Please tell us about the details of the Organization’s experiments. Also, was the pod Sora entered somehow related to the experiments done by the Organization? Was the pod in Twilight Town the same sort of thing?
In the end, the Organization’s goal is to obtain the Kingdom Heart’s of people’s hearts and to fully exist. These Nobodies are called “those who don’t exist”. In order to assume a new existence, information about their own personal circumstances must first be gathered. A Nobody’s main characteristic is that without a heart they use memories to form the parts of a personality and emotions. For them, memories have become an essential element. The birth of Castle Oblivion itself is still a mystery but before the Organization was born into this world it was there. The Organization discovered this castle. You should be able to make some guesses from the additional scenes this time, and fairly quick be able to think of the next stage.
At the same time Roxas awoke in Twilight Town, Naminé awoke in Castle Oblivion. Afterwards, the Organization discovered Naminé. The organization thought of Naminé’s gift to manipulate memories as a way to resolve the actual circumstances surrounding each of their abilities and attributes. The memories of those who enter were used in the experiments on memories going on there. Above all else, the Organization’s leader Xemnas was investigating the importance of memories. During these experiments, in order for these memories to be broken and then regenerated, those pods were made by the Organization. The pod Sora awoke from in Twilight Town and the pod Sora awoke from in Twilight Town and the pod Diz moved from Castle Oblivion to keep away from the Organization’s pursuit are the same thing. Also, there is an additional scene where Xigbar talks about the “true goal of Castle Oblivion” and when this particular scene appears, I think all mystery surrounding castle Oblivion should become clear.
V – There is still a lot of mystery about the keyblades I think. The “Light side, heart of worlds keyblade” that Sora wields, the “keyblade of people’s hearts” made from the Seven Princesses’ hearts for Riku, and the “Dark side, heart of worlds keyblade” that the king obtained in the realm of darkness, presently these 3 types can be confirmed. Could you please explain things a little further?
Keyblades have 2 different constitutions, either from the Light side or the Dark side. This is merely the exterior key, the inner key can act from either side and its abilities won’t change. There is no clear division between good and evil. Usually the door to each world is closed and the keyhole itself is not visible. By bringing a keyblade nearby, the keyhole appears. But the lock is not actually closed itself. Indeed, the Heartless were able to find the door and easily open it and in this way steal hearts. In the previous game, Sora turned the locks and closed these doors. Furthermore, about the opened door of the integrated heart of worlds “Kingdom Hearts” itself, to prevent the outflow of the darkness within hearts the intent and reasons were different so the keyblade was used for a different purpose. In order to work, the door needs to be closed from both the Dark side and the Light side and both a dark and light realm keyblade are needed. The King needed a keyblade opposite from the realm of light keyblade that Sora had, so he went to the realm of darkness to obtain one.
The keyblade constructed from the Seven Princesses’ hearts that Riku obtained in the previous game allowed for the keyhole in Hollow Bastion to appear. For the plan to cause darkness to overflow from hearts, the special hearts held be the Princesses were used to artificially make this keyblade. So it is different from a proper keyblade. There are further suggestions that this keyblade is artificial as well.
VI – Could you please give an explanation for the new keyblade “Way to the Dawn” that Riku obtained and the keyblade Kairi has as well as what the conditions for using a keyblade are?
There isn’t necessarily one keyblade for the dark side and one for the light side, just as many as there exist people with qualified hearts. Concerning the conditions to wield one, at this stage, “Those with strong hearts” is the only obvious one. However, less obvious conditions still exist and there are still plans for an opportunity to reveal those. Riku’s “Way to the Dawn” and Kairi’s keyblade are naturally the same type of keyblade as Sora’s. However there is no particular explanation for the Soul Eater’s transfer and occurrence, as well as Riku’s handing it to Kairi. When there isn’t a normal process of acquisition, I think its ok to think there is some deeper meaning there.
VII – In KH, at the same time Sora became a heartless Roxas was born and entered the Organization. So if that’s the case, at that point in time at Castle Oblivion Sora used a keyblade while at the same time Roxas would have been using a keyblade. Was this Sora’s keyblade? Within the organization I think we particularly saw Roxas using a keyblade. And similar to Roxas, Sora served as another Keyblade Master conviently gathering hearts. So why was the Organization defeated?
The keyblade that Roxas used and the thing that Sora once lost in Castle Oblivion are the same thing. Furthermore, these two both used the keyblade at the same time. This can be explained by the relationship between Roxas and Sora. Thus, that both can wield two keyblades in fact has an important meaning. This is also related to Xehanort’s memories, but this point can’t be touched on just yet.
Furthermore, from the time that the two were both using the keyblade at the same time, the Organization itself was using Sora for their ultimate goal. Soon enough, each of the Organization’s expectations differed. By changing Sora and Roxas’s movements, eventually they became unable to use Sora for their true meaning. As a result, Sora became an obstacle to the movements of the organization itself and he had to be defeated. But even if Sora were to be defeated, you could say there are other things to think about in making that sacrifice.
UPDATE 1
VIII – When the heartless are defeated, what becomes of the stolen hearts? Also, when members of Organization XIII and other Nobodies are defeated, do they return to their original form?
When heartless are defeated, essentially the owner’s hearts are rejoined with their once extinguished body, whichever world it may be on. As for the whereabouts of hearts in KHII that turn up, this time they remarkably went to the organization (there is a foot note here that says “In Kingdom Hearts II after heartless were defeated, the many hearts were absorbed by the Kingdom Hearts of “people’s hearts”). However, in the rare case that the body changed into a Nobody, when there is no container for the heart it resorts to a state of suspension.
In the case of a Nobody being defeated, it’s a little more complicated. If the above mentioned hearts are liberated, they return to their original form. However, if the heart is still stolen by the heartless, the Nobody’s body is swallowed by darkness. If somewhere in the world their hearts are taken back, perhaps they might be able to return to their original human form.
UPDATE 2
IX – Could you please gather some information about the main characters? The reason Sora becomes Anti Form, the reason Riku is able to be selected by a keyblade, Kairi’s memories of Radiant Garden, Roxas and Namine’s differences from other Nobodies, the absence of Sora and them, their parent’s and friends, and what about school?
Concerning Sora’s Anti Form, you could think that the reason is related to his changing into a heartless once before. In fact, beyond Sora’s Nobody, it is natural to assume that Sora is influenced by the heartless. Riku’s Dark Mode is similar. By using such a strong power too much, he may have ended up approaching too close to darkness. There should be a hint about Riku being a chosen wielder hidden discreetly somewhere in the additions to the game, so certainly try and find it. As for Kairi’s memories, there’s nothing particularly special about them. If I personally recalled memories from before I was 5, I think I wouldn’t remember many details about them. That is to say on a general level, there are things I would remember and things I would forget.
Because there is already a detailed explanation of Roxas and Namine being special Nobodies in this volume, please read the specific details there. I’ll summarize it so its easy to understand. Essentially when a strong hearted person has their heart stolen, they change into a heartless, and on rare occasions their body changes into a Nobody. But in the case for these two, for Kairi’s heart to be hidden within Sora, it took a special shape. Moreover, when Sora himself was changed into a heartless he was purified by Kairi. In order for Sora to be revived without following the essential course, the special way Roxas and Namine were born from these types, special Nobodies ended up being left behind. Still, I get the feeling from the story so far that Xemnas might also be a special Nobody.
Finally, about the people on Destiny Island, at the time of Sora and groups disappearance, on the night of the storm from the previous game, Destiny Island itself ended up disappearing and for the people of that world time is stopped. Afterwards, Sora slept for 1 year, and then everyone’s memories of Sora himself were no longer there. As such the memory actually became “On the night of the storm, Riku’s body disappeared”. Once Sora awoke, the memories of him returned. Eventually the memories of Sora, just as Riku was no longer there after the storm that night, were that both of them had disappeared. (footnote: However, Kairi alone was once assimilated into Sora’s heart. In this edition “Kingdom Hearts II” I strongly feel that he was influenced by this.
X – KH’s Ansem (Xehanort) seems to have thoroughly gotten rid of his own heart, but Xemnas (Xehanort) commanding Organization XIII is seeking a fresh heart. If I understand that in becoming a heartless and a nobody, they became 2 different people, would their minds then as well become separate? Also, the original Xehanort should have some memory loss but in the additional scenes this time there seem to be some questionable parts. Have his memories returned, or perhaps the memory loss itself was a lie?
In essence, the two are the same. However, they function under separate minds. Xehanort most certainly got rid of his heart, and at that time it’s assumed a Nobody was born. The means of obtaining their goal is different due to the nature of Heartless and Nobodies. However. I think for both of them the desire “to become a complete existence” is the same. This time the new mysterious keyword “Xehanort’s memories” is left behind. In the “Secret Ansem Report” that Ansem the Wise wrote and mysteriously left behind, there is a hidden secret that will have a big influence on KH. As for the contents of his memories and the present condition of them, I cannot reveal that just yet.
UPDATE 3 – FINAL
XI – Concerning the keyword Keyblade War, could you be a little more specific about that? Could it be related to the “Fairytale of Children and Light” that Kairi’s Grandmother told?(footnote: In Kingdom Heats, Sora experienced Kairi’s memories. It was the scene when Kairi’s Grandmother told her an old story when she was still young. It was about when worlds were swallowed by darkness, children used the power of fragments of light to rebuild worlds.)
To tell the story about the Keyblade War we need the capacity of hi-spec hardware and we need to accumulate all of our knowledge on this hardware. And in telling this story, we will need to tell it in separate episodes, and how specifically to tell it has yet to be figured out.
As for the fairytale that Kairi heard, for everyone to feel like such and old fairytale is real, I think we need a little more time. That is to say, to talk specifically about either this soon might perhaps be irrelevant.
XII – Of the people that appear in the new secret movie “Birth By Sleep” that was added to KHII:FM, several names and figures are recognizable and must be extremely meaningful. Giving specifics is likely impossible, but could you give us a hint? Furthermore, do the 3 armored figures that appear there and the similar looking armored figure in the Last Battle have some relation to Xemnas?
For the recognizable figures and the recognizable faces, reaching the secret this time is extremely difficult, but I think the video is fairly spectacular and will stir you imaginations. The armored figures have a connection to Xemnas but after all I can’t give any specifics at the present stage. But, the video this time has a foreboding opening and please think of the figures ahead as having reason and a hinting connection.
XIII – Lastly, has Sora’s journey come to an end this time? Before you told us “I have the end of Kingdom Hearts in my head”, but does this mean that Sora won’t be there? There seem to be new developments with the Kingdom Hearts Series, so can you please tell us within the present limits any hints?
Without recalling too much about the mysteries and problems of the outline remaining for KH series thus far, I don’t think that Sora’s journey is over. If you get to see the ending of KHII I think you will be able to sense some new premonitions. About what I said about the “end” of KH, of course I won’t be able to say anything about that yet, but if the numbering of KH were to go to “III”, I doubt that Sora would have no relation to it. And even if I wrap up Kingdom Hearts, I don’t think that Sora will be irrelevant.
Also, there are many new developments. I think that the news will be able to satisfy the widely supportive KH fans everywhere. Because there is still more to say about this “new” thing, please dare to think with a different flow, rather than just going with what’s mainstream. I will give you a hint about the contents of one of the numerous developments. In the freshly added secret movie a phrase comes out, “Fate doesn’t happen by accident, there is necessity”.
In the near future, when you experience the new Kingdom Hearts, please see about opening this book. I think surely some of these points will tie together. And also at that time, it would be very fortunate if all the fans everywhere have a good time with it. Until an announcement comes, please have your fill of fun with this game and look forward to the next.

i think this cleared up a lot of questions that we all had, for instance, the side stories that can and probably will be done, like riku’s and king Mickey’s time away from sora.
But this also brought up some interesting points, one is the acquisition of the keyblade. Nomura said at this time the keyblade is obtained when one has a strong heart, but their are other less obviou conditions. I just wonder what they could be, and is it crucial to the story.
But the thing(s) that im most interested in is what is the meaning behind the use of two keyblades, and what exactly can be done with the 4 stories behind kingdom hearts.
Well like he said, it was when mickey went foir a Dark Realm Keyblade(Note that the DR and LR Keyblades are polar oposites in everyway down to their very appearance.)Riku’s absence but tha could be when he fell into the Dark on the Desteny Islands or when he was locked behinds Kingdom Hearts. Roxas time in XIII which should prove most enlightening. And finally the lost memories of Xehanort which is ultimatly the most important.
This is so because Nomura even said Xemnas was obsessed with memories. Thats because he wants to know what happened to him before he landed at Ansem’s. Which is where the enigmatic soldiers and that odd couple come in.
Sorry for my horrid typing
i know what each of them did, and what there goal is, but you do realize that they probably got taken off track, soras original goal was to find riku and kairi and get back to the islands, then it turned to saving the worlds.
I believe that the ending with the soldiers must refer to the Xehanorts memories portion of the 4 untold stories, i hope that each story will be playable.
He wasnt real specific with much of his answers, which can only really mean there must be something important and he doesnt want to tell us. Like the armoured guys having a connection to Xemnas, we already speculated that there was a connection, but what exactly is the connection
While the connection may be at first vague we have to look at what we’re given. I believe that the relationship between Xemnas and the Knights is most notable once hes on the Dragon Throne in his armor. But we are also shown a connection in the Room of Sleep “I think thats what its called” where Xemnas goes below the heartless machine in Radiant Garden down below to that room with chains and Nobody Insignias. Upon sitting down in a throne there he identifies someone he sees as a friend and you are shown the armor of Aqua I think her name is. One could guess that he was once a soldier before he lost his memory then reovered it or that they’re old flames or something of that nature. Nomura’s given us alot to work with so this can go in alot of different ways. Good to hear that Soras on the train to the bitter end though.
Yeah, apparently Sora will be appearing but the focus has been shifted off him…
Perhaps with the next game it will be the opposite of KH2′s set up – we’ll begin the game playing as Sora for a few hours and then some event will happen and we’ll end up playing as Ven for the rest of the game…
Could be cool!
I thought this was quite interesting too, but i was looking at some screen shots for final fantasy versus in the latest issue of game informer, and i could of sworn that they looked like the blue haired girl, and the one we believe to be xehanort, now, i dont think that is them, and the blue haired person was a guy, i just thought that to be interesting
i think maybe sora will have a small role. I think he will be about as polular as mickey was in the second game, I think like maybe sora taught the chaseres after sora saved kingdom hearts like 5 times(im speaking as if thi was in the future) and then like on certain tought battles when you die you can play as sora with some swwwwweeeeeet new moves, and the once or twice sora will join you by your side in fighting. ANd i think parties will consist of one of the 2 other chasers (aqua and ven) and the pary member from that world, or both chasers.
Oblivion, the only reasons the characters look similar is because the game is by the exact Kingdom Hearts team (minus the Disney influence). Versus XIII is similar to KH in gameplay style, and Nomura’s been working on it for a while now (it’s his last FF game ever).
Basically, most Nomura designs look very similar (if not the same) because he’s never too original. Also, when he designed that new chasers faces, he would have been working quite thoroughly on FFV13 at the time, so he would have had that title’s characters on his mind. :D
Anyways, nice catch – gave me an opportunity to clear up Versus XIII here! :D Not that too many visitors read the comments, so if I start getting heaps of emails before Versus comes out next year I might have to officially talk about it in a new article!
Once again, thanks! :)
Thats what i was thinking, i thought it was because they both were coming out on the ps3, so he thought why not make them look the same, with a few alterations.
Well i think that KH3 is just going to be on ps3 just because Disney, and square enix have something to do with the sales of both the game and the ps3. But i could stand corrected considering i already have a ps3 and that there are already 4 games out for it… in other words….idk
i know your being sarcastic pluto about the amount of games on the ps3, but i see your point. But what you have to understand is that kingdom hearts 3 or whatever their calling it, isnt really in the making yet, so it wont be out until sometime in 2009
2009. Thats to long away. Me i dont know as much as you all do. I just think that sora will be the main character and it will be stupid if hes not. This is my guess. All the others i dont care. And for the ps3 thats not cool. I Could care less about the way that the game looks. A
This is just my opinion, but it looks to me like the night that removes his helmet and gets the glowing eyes is Xehanort. The clip is probably depicting what happend to make him lose his memories. These three knights somehow resemble Kairi, Rikku, and Sora with the blue haired girl alalogous to Kairi, the one that gets frozen(and incidentally resembles Roxas) simular to Sora, and the main one being like Rikku. This may be why his heartless could manipulate Rikku. Also, when it is mentioned that the secret ansem reports contain a secret that will influence KH, I think it refers to the last ansem report.”How did Xehanort manage to open the door that appeared in the basement of my castle…?” This makes me believe that he had his own keyblade.
actually jon, it would make sense if he wasnt, i mean, there is so many stories apart of kingdom hearts, that playing as sora, would not make sense. And you know what, i think you would care how it looks, cause im sure you wouldnt think to highly of it it if it came out for the ps1, would never happen, and 2009, is probabally the earliest it will come out, so the ps2 will be pretty close to obseltion, cause by around the time kh3 comes out, the ps3 will have been out for at least 2 and half years, meaning the price would have gone down plenty, resulting in sales for the ps3
i heared it will be out on october 3 2007 i hope so
p.s. will roxas be in KH3 hes awesome
p.s.p.s. the next inheritance book according to a pattern should be out in august on 29 or 26
well, you do make sense. But as i’ve said about the looks i wouldnt care about. I Wasent lieing. For example, final fantasy 7 had pretty bad graphics but how many people still play it up to date. They play for its fantastic story lines. I Thats why i think KH is such a great game. But about the ps3 dealio. I Still enjoy my ps2 and when KH3 does come out i will see about the whole big and bad ps3
roxas, they havent begun making it yet, that is perhaps a rumored release date for kh2 final mix if anything.
I see your point jon, but you do have to realize the release dater is still at least 2 years away, so anything can happen, my premise in the world of games, it will be released for the ps3, if your lucky, maybe the ps2, so who knows
Final Mix+ might be coming here people – don’t get your hopes up straight away but the buzz amongst a lot of us right now is that Square’s execs want it to happen – apparently they’ve gotten ‘uncountable’ amounts of emails and phone calls to bring it to the US.
I’ll report on this if anything happens.
haha, uncountable, i think that is an understatement
well, many people have been waiting for some glimps of what happens after the end of kh2 im pretty it will hit the states like a ton of bricks
…Final Mix doesn’t show what happens after KH2…
Golden, i think people are confusing kh2 final mix with the 3rd main game for kingdom hearts again, i mean if you look up like 3 posts roxas said kh3 is coming out october 3rd of this year.
[...] Kingdom Hearts 3 / III / KH3 – Another Report – Nomura goes in-depth! (UPDATE 3 – FINAL INCL. KEYBLADE WAR) This report tells of many secrets and theories that have been made. [...]
um, what exactly was the last thing that was posted even mean?
dude maybe thats how the the 3 of the orginals look like but ya i can see that
wow, all these random posts are making my head hurt
how do yall know that 2 of the chaser’s names are aqua and ven
from other posts, videos, and translations that are on this site
Lol ‘Nomaru’… gotta love mispelt names :D
Anyways the guy was linking FF Extreme’s forums to my article and then pretty much commented here to source me I guess. Thanks :D
As for Aqua and Ven, the third knight (dark brown hair, gold eyes), talked about them when the player goes to do battle with them. He asks where ‘Aqua and Ven’ are.
Heh, I think you’re right Oblivion! I don’t really know how to point this out to people – it’ll be a bit stupid making a huge announcement just to say ‘KH2 Final Mix+ is not KH3′…
Besides, no one would listen anyways… :D
cause you already know if you do that, someone is going to getr all pissed ooff and try to prove you wrong, it is a little amusing actually
ok, what the hell is kh fm all about and that chump that got frozen or somthin like that. Who is he. Looks alot like roxas. And i know it dosent show what happens after kh2. I Was stating that its got somthing to do with kh After the events in kh2.
There is no definite answer on who that guy is. Final mix is a kinda directors cut on kh2, which hopefully will be released in america in the fall. All it is is just the same game, with new enemies, boss battles, and a secret ending, visi ve, the one we all talk about.
If our theory is correct, then that takes place before the events of kh2, maybe even kh1. But that video is relating to the third main game, which if i heard right wont even be called kh3
well thanks for clearing things up. if it is events that happen before the whole sora story. Then thats pretty dumb to go in circles and just keep us guessing with all this secret stuff and should stop making all these homosexual-esque side stories.
also, me be love Brokeback Mountain movie. is on, is good.
…They’ve only done one side-story until now.
thats not what i heard. In that secert namoura report thing he said there are more than one stories going on. And sorry about that brokeback moutain thing. I Dont know how that got there
Nomura even said hes trying to figure out ways to tell the other sides, which there is at least 3 other stories, and what the hell does brokeback mountain have to do with kingdom hearts???
alright, i was in the middle of something so i didnt see you post that before mine. But yes, in that report he said he has at least four stories in mind, and hes just figuring out how to use them and how to make them. But golden is right jon, theyve only done one side of the story, and soon to do more
well that sounds just awsome. More stories to link together in the great puzzle we call kingdom hearts. These people are extreme at suspence.
Yeah basically there are four other stories to tell, but they aren’t going to take up four games, they’ll pretty much all just be in the next one – basically he was just saying that there were four little stories that needed to be cleared up after 1 and 2, and they’d be touched upon in 3.
Anyways thanks for the help Oblivion :D
the only problem i have in mind though, is it going to incorparate and keep disney in the picture? What im saying is, how long is square going to keep visiting the worlds, and past future time games of the series, will they even be in it.
Something tells me yes, look at this for a moment, back in kh1, in atlantica, king tritan knew about the keyblade and the rules the wielder must follow, i wonder, how does he know about that anyways?
maybe its common knowledge among the worlds. Or maybe hes reffering to the past. But traveling between worlds is a big part of the game. And i think it will be apart of the next games, but will not be a big thing.
hey, nomura said that the three armored characters in the secret ending of KH 2 we connected in some way to xehanort, but does anyone besides me think its jus Sora, iku, and Kairi now that shes a keyblade wielder? Cuz one of them picks up keyblade that is obviously the Kingdom Key (Sora) and another picks up a keynlade that has an uncanny similarity to Soul Eater, which was made specifically for riku. IO\ didnt think keyblades could jus change owners so easily, seeing as its true owner can call it back to them, but i cud be wrong.
wowee, shinsei you got a good eye for detail. I had to watch the video again and your right. Butt it just could be a little bit funny. This feeling inside..Im not one me those who can easily hide. But you can tell everybody that this is your song. It may be quite simple but now that its done. I hope you dont mind. I hope you dont mind that i put down in words. Who wonderful life is now your in the world. Elton john kicks ass
Well, with the secret video Nomura already said though that the three knights are all characters we don’t know so… I don’t think they can really be Sora, Riku and Kairi.
Nice theory though! :D
well they could be related or somthing like that
I found out that it will be called KHIII and will cowe out may 2008.
I found out that it will be called KHIII the keyblade wars and will come out may 2008.
Xehanort before ansem found him was one of the four people know as the keyblade makers. The three knights from the secret ending are the other three. Their names are the maker of light, the maker of twilight, the maker of dawn, and the maker of darkness.
Xehanort was the maker of darkness and try to rule all the worlds and take control of kingdom hearts but the other three defeated him before that could happen.
That is when he lost his memory and was taken in by ansem and named Xehanort.
Also the room that Xemnas went into that contained the armor is called the room of sleep and what he has been searching for was the room of awakening which supposedly should help him get back his old memories.
Thats all i relly know about it so far.
heres what i know, people who post, need to make it one post, instead of posting five times
Sorry about that, it’s hard for me to remember stuff until i’ve already posted.
well if Xemnas had (chaser) armor in the room of sleep then mabye he had it with him and wondered what it meant searched for the lost memories about it,it kinda connects with “birth by sleep” in the trailer, just thinking
my bad too, had a really bad day that day, didnt mean to take it out.
no problem
how do you play a japanese game on a american ps2
i just got kingdom hearts and kingdom hearts 2final mix and it says incorrect region
i dont like posting at different times so if you read this can you meet at this comment page at 7:30 pm if you can.
and once again sorry for posting 5 times
you have to have a mod for your PS2 in order to play KH2:FM
thanks
ok whos present
anyone, anyone at all please respond
you need a speical like chip to play them, im not sure of the name
majic swap v 3.6 worked with me, its a CD that you put in and it reads, then you open up the tray and stick in a jap. game and the region code is not there anymore, or you could buy a jap. PS2 on ebay for 30$, its about the same price if you find a good one…
Now think of the knight with the brown hair ,the one whos eyes chenge at the end of the vid(the one fought in Final Mix). Look familiar? Similar face, hair and body size. Also note that his eyes turn gold at the end of the video – similar to Xehanort, Ansem and Xemnas eyes, but not exactly.
So what does all this mean? Basically, I believe this is Xehanort’s brother. In KH2 Final Mix he hates Xehanort more than anything in the world – an epic brotherly rivalry is a strong story point. Note how their hairstyles almost point out their opposites – Xehanort’s pure white compared with his ‘brother’s’ dark brown, almost black hair.
The uncanny resemblance probably means twins, which would mean the flashback we saw in KH2 was from the same time as this secret video. Xehanort’s ‘brother’ might not even look like this when he is fought during Final Mix itself as the optional boss – perhaps he has been contained in this world and can’t escape to find the brother he still seeks revenge upon. He looks almost larger when he is fought as a boss – perhaps if his helmet were removed he would look like Xehanort (’Ansem’) did in KH1, except with the dark brown hair…?
All of this is just theory at the moment everyone but… these resemblances are too uncanny, even for Nomura. If this falls true then we have a very interesting new core three characters for the next game – Ven, a Roxas look alike; Aqua, powerful and caring of Ven, relations unknown; and Xehanort’s ‘brother’…
I think what everyone is forgetting is that if you watch the secret movie you should note that the man the three knights are fighting is whereing the exact same clothes as Ansem/Xehanort from KH1 and the creepy lokkin thing that comes out of him is whereing an outfit very similar to the dark riku suit from KH1 so you may be able to infur from that that this person is Xehanort and this could take place in the future for a more Chrono type adventure or this could be after KH2 and this is what became of the real xehanort at any rate the three knights terra aqua and ven seem to be good guys of corse that dosent really say much if any one plays final fantasy often times good guys become bad guys and vise versa however from the look of this secret movie i would say that this figure fighting the knights either is xehanort or has a very strong conection with him and the fact that king micky is present makes one wonder if this is the reason for the message in the bottle at the end of KH2, if so this would obviously have to take place after kh2 unless this is something micky witnessed some time ago and has now resurfaced because that stupid mouse never seems to tell you everything and he seems to know alot about everything but thats my theory
I have read in a previous entry about the other KH games like Coded ad the title for the DS (I dont remember the name).
Therefore I am sure that one of these interviews said that KH III was going to be the last one.
If that is true then Nomura-sensei would be wrong……Although how do we know if Nomura-sensei or the guy (Or girl) writing this is wrong?
That really filled in some blanks for me,But I wonder what will be the end of Kingdom Hearts? Kingdom Hearts 3 could be the end of the series. I can’t wait until I get my own psp in order to play Kingdom Hearts:Birth by Sleep.
Lulz @ the fact that anyone seems to be dizzled by the “symmetry” of the enemies in the secret ending movie and the enemies in KH apart from me and exodus… the bald grandpa’s clothes are identical to xehanort’s heartless clothes, apart from don’t having the heartless emblem in it, which means he’s probably a whole person, and the spidermar like man’s clothes look just like riku’s in matter of style…the base is the same, just added char personality in it and the heartless emblem….
another fact is: i don’t think Xemnas has/had a keyblade, because if so he wouldn’t need Sora and would send some lackeys to wipe his ass off (I don’t really like Sora =P)
This documentation evokes two questions. How will Sora become his full potential and when will we finally see a side of him that is dark. These pressing issues will most likely reveal themselves in as the Final Mix edition comes out
I was able retrieve a copy of the new Kingdom Hearts, Final Mix, game because my dad is the productions manager at Square Enix. If any of you want a copy of the intro, you can e-mail me at dwilliams@netscape.net and I will give it to you. Thanks! You’re a peach.
Ummm Ummm Elmo says that sharing is nice. Ha Ha! Elmo thinks that nuclear destruction and annihilation will result in Armageddon. Ha! Ha! Fidel Castro resigned. Elmo out! \ /

So if Birth by Sleep is ten years before KH1 Than Sora would be…five and so would Kairi and Nomura said that Kairi had memories from Radient Garden when she was five and Sora said she CAME to the island and was not born there so she was probably born in Radient Garden.
And Sora probably realized this while he was asleep for a year.
Therefore it would be Birth by Sleep?
