Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep JP Release – January 9th!
Hopefully I’ll have time to keep up with the updates since the release of Birth By Sleep is fast approaching.

Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, the game that tells in complete detail of Roxas’ time in Organization XIII, hits store shelves today. The game promises a great story, a great new Panel system, and revolutionary graphics for the DS system. Do you have what it takes to uncover Roxas’ story?
I picked up the game earlier today, and so far I’m having a blast with it. It stays true to the Kingdom Hearts we know and love — and that’s all that matters for me.
Japanese gaming magazine V-Jump has dropped some info on a new mode in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep — a co-op mode. Players take control of one of the three heroes — Ven, Aqua, and Terra — in a world called Mirage Arena. It’s basically an arena mode, in which the trio fights in their armor as seen in the secret trailer.
It is unknown whether or not the mode will be Ad-Hoc, Infrastructure, or both.
As well as this new information, the magazine released several screenshots. The shots reveal the Peter Pan world, as well as some shots of the Mirage Arena world. Check them out below.
The official Japanese site for Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep opened today, boasting some character profiles and a brand new trailer. The trailer shows off some new cutscenes and Aqua gameplay for the first time. The site also holds the ‘Coming 2009′ statement, giving further proof that the game will release in Japan this year. Don’t count on it, though.
You can visit the site here. The trailer is under the ‘Movies’ section.
The Birth By Sleep scans from the September issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu have been released, showing off more of the Deep Space world, as well as more details on the Castle of Dreams Cinderella world. Check ‘em out below and on the (coming soon) Birth By Sleep Images page.
The long awaited V-Jump Birth By Sleep scans have surfaced on the internet, and reveal some more information about the Lilo and Stich world, Deep Space. Gantu, the antagonist of the movie and tv series, is making an appearance and you will be fighting him as Aqua, who is using a Limit Move called Diamond Dust. Stitch is being referred to in the scans as “Experiment 626″.
It appears as if Stitch also joins your party in the Deep Space world and enables co-op abilities with Aqua!
My September issue of NA magazine GameInformer hit today, and mixed in with the previews was a small bit on the North American release of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. The scan shows off severel new English screenshots, as well as a couple paragraphs to sum up the story. It also details 358/2 Days’ panel system, a leveling system completely new to the series.
You can view the scan below as well as on the 358/2 Days Image page when it is done!
