Summaries Section Now Open

For those of you that weren’t aware, i have been working on creating a summaries section for the three non platform games, 358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep, and Coded. I wanted to create this so that players who were faithful to the platform games, but didn’t have the systems to play the side games, could read their general information and be filled in.
I just uploaded the Coded summary, which completes my goal of writing the first three summaries. They are on the right hand side menu, under summaries on the very bottom, if you haven’t yet seen them. Also, you can post on each individual summary, so i encourage each and every one of you, to use that spot as a place to talk about each individual game, either information you read in the summary, or simply things you liked or disliked about the game. It will be a good way for us to possibly keep matters of this site going, aside from just the normal commenting. Also, while on that subject, most of the summaries are lengthy, however, if you do read them, i would like to know what you thought of them, if it sounded like i was rambling, or if you were confused reading them, because i can always edit them to improve for newer visitors.
Lastly, depending on what others think of the summaries, i have thought of including ones for Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts Two, so people who are completely new to the series can read about them if they so choose. however, I am not sold on this idea yet, so if you want to see those uploaded, please let me know, or if you think it is a waste of time, tell me that as well.

Org: sorry i didnt tell you about making a new post, but since i was the sole hand in the summaries section, i didnt really see it nescessary. i appologize since we are an equal partnership though.
anyway, hope everyone else enjoys. try to go on the summaries pages and comment about the games, its another effort to keep this place alive.
I was waiting for those, when i get the moment i will have to read up on the ones besides BBS to see what i missed and to see how good you were with the 358/2 days.
With the first 3 installments however, it sounds like a good idea, but it may be quite lengthy, i havent looked at the summaries of the other 3 yet, but i mildly think for at least the two platform games that will b e more effort then the other 3 combined. I still think it be a good idea, and if you need a hand drop me line and ill try to give it a shot and see what you think
thanks reza. i think aside from providing information to any newcomers it will also make the summaries section more complete, having all the games on there instead of just half. but like you said, it might take me a while because the platform games have so much content. The BBS summary took me the longest, at three days, running at about six MW pages. (i typed them on word first, its easier to edit them that way). so ill have to see how things go with these three first.
Does anyone else see the posts as a condensed form? like without pictures and only half of the original post up? or is it just my computer or something?
Its good that section now is finished. It is actually a rather important piece for a great website. Also I have the same layout. But somehow, I like it. If you only could include the picture, and a small introduction before you click further to the page, I would say that would be close to perfect
Yeah luna its happening to me too, i thought it was jsut because i was using the family computer and it was an IE problem
Hmm. that interesting. i think perhaps it has something to do with the adds at the top. there used to only be two horizontal ones, now theres four. at least on my screen. maybe its forcing everything else down.
i thought there was more than 2 ads regardless but i couldve been wrong, Its almost like the ads cant go across and instead the site is making it go vertical
Yeah, something like that. anyway, i dont know how to fix it, and org didnt seem to have much insight either, so unless golden comes along, i dont suppose theres much we can do about it.
On a different note, would anyone be interested in discussing matters that had nothing to do with KH? I know this is a KH website, but i think if we were to talk about more matters of life, it might make this place more of a community than it already is. Or, if the posters here would rather keep things just about KH, then i would like to know that as well.
Im all willing to be talking about other random things. Whether they be just random life or other games a like. With minimal KH news till BBS is released and till the official announcement of the next installment there wont be a lot of KH talk.
Whats on the agenda, everyday life? Games were addicted to? whats all up?
I do remember our secret page we had earlier, were we had conversations over anything but KH. I do think its nice to have a comment page about the personal life. It will truly bring the visitors closer.
Well I can just as well start as a I have some things to tell. One week left for my summer job, then its back to school. My last year at this level in school. Also, yesterday was maybe the toughest day of my life. Our oldest dog, a 12-year old golden retriever was put to death. It was so that his back legs (?) werent as strong as before, as his joint were weakened. Now he started having problem to rise up, walk over slippy floors and just a few days ago, he even fell during a walk. No matter how much you loved him, you could see it was time for him, as he couldnt continue to suffer.
As we decided, the whole family took him to the vet to he could go to sleep for the last time. And I can tell you, I cried even more than a baby. I couldnt keep it together as the tears just kept flushing out. This is, without a doubt, the toughest and worst thing I have experenced in my whole life.
Its strange how you always knew this day would come, but still you never can be prepared for it
while i cant say ive expirienced that for myself, i understand how difficult it must be. And although its going to sound cheesy, i suppose the best thing to say would be: it had to be done. better he die and be happy than live and be miserable. hes better off now, as are you and youre family. The condition could only get worse, so at least you did the proper thing for the animal. It will always be tough, but just know, hes in a better place now.
And i asked earlier becuase i was thinking of dedicating the “forums” section to a place where we can go and discuss both things KH related and non. it doesnt operate like traditional forums, and because of the way its set up, i could only have one topic up there at a time, but it might be a good place to go to and speak of matters that dont involve KH topics.
I was thinking of running it something like “Topic of the week: August XX, 2010: Today in the news, ______ happened, do you agree with this?” or something like, “Assassins Creed: Brootherhood is coming out soon, what are you thoughts on this game, or any other games you cant get enough of.” Etc.
What do you think?
YEah that or in the side section where you do have the forum link and all that other stuff, have a link for random talk, topic of the week and such. Then when a new week starts or a new topic comes u and the old one dies off, you can remove it and replace it.
I feel for you eagl, lucky for me though all the pets i had to let go of happened when i was real young, so i never understand where and why they left, but even so i still do feel for ya.
Well i think i introduced myself before, but that was quite a few years ago..Live in PA in the states, not sure if anyone here is not in the states, started the university of pitt come fall, and well i try to keep busy but hard to do with work. Some of the other games i do like to play is what me and Luna was talking about before AC, and with brotherhood coming out i might get focused in on that. Other than that ive been pretty entertwined with call of duty.
im pretty sure we all did introductions WAY back when, before this site really got going and there was only like four of us. so youre right with that part.
but i suppose i will keep the trend going.
I live in washington, in the US, and am starting Central Washington U. in the fall as well. i dont plan on having that much trouble with my work load unless college is REALY something i wasnt expecting. I started playing KH when the second one came out beleive it or not, becuase when i played the first one i didnt like the destiny islands part at the start and it turned me off (keep in mind i was young), but ive played them all multiple times nowadays.
Some other games i like, as Reza and i have discussed Assassins creed is big on my list, so is fallout. Mainly though i like RPG’s many from squaresoft or Squeenix, some from other publishers though.
The corny and cheesy things are often the best way to describe different feelings and thoughts. So I couldnt agree more with you. Anyway, I really appreciate it. Even if I dont want to make it a crying-out post, its good to know you have support. So thanks.
Also I have basically no time for games. The closest I come at the moment is when I play NHL with my friend on his X-Box. Otherwise from time to time I play the football (soccer) manager games. With that said I do want to point out that I still consider this one of the best years of game releases. There have been multiple games that really have caught my attention and if I were a little younger, or had more spare-time, trust me, I would have played a lot of them
I used to be pretty big witht he sports games, madden and mlb, some fifa. But after so many years of the same stuff with basically only roster upgrades with minimal graphic upgrades buying the new year of madden doesnt make much sense
I guess it’s my turn now. Currently live in Nj and attending Middlesex County College in the fall. Working on 3 novels; Luna can vouch for me on this one. Novel number 2 is being reviewed by an editor for the 2nd time now. The title of it is True to the End. It’s a sci-fi novel involving two teens who discover a 3rd floor at their hs and they land in another dimension due to what they find.
My hobbies are writing and photography. Been taking photos for over 11 years now and I have my own business! Love what I do. I believe that hobbies are becoming more rare with all of the technology we have now. My pictures are for sale of course.

Light, try to post your comments about the summaries under each summary page, to perhaps get further discussion going in those threads.
and yes, i can vouch for Org. ive read two of his novels now, and severely helped him edit the first one. They were both exciting, so i look forward to helping him in the future. I also like to write. ive written a series of short stories that i plan to transform into full novels later on, all of which Org read about three years ago. The series is called To End The War, and the individual books are: In THe Begining (prequle) to end the war, (number one), a Foreign Land, and To End it All.
Currently though im working on my biggest novel yet which is both a testiment to my life in high school as well as a high fantasy, superhero novel. IVe been working on it for about 6 months now, and its in the typing stages after 365 written pages.
lastly, were always here for you Eagl. The four of us are like an old family, with a few youngins thrown in for good measure.

I actually understand you there Reza. However things are starting to turn, the upgrades are actually better. Yet you can never compare it to a sequel in a “regular” game.
Anyway, except for my sorrow I havent said much about my life. I did mention Im on my last week before school. During this I need to decide if I want to continue my education towards our version of the university, and if I do so, If I want to apply direct, or take a year or term to work, travel o simply just relax. Plus I need to look up the courses including marketing and salesment.
Except for that my football has recently started again after a summerbreak, and its actually going pretty well atm.

You may notice on the right hand side, underneath my summaries, are two new links that have forums in the title.
So far, this is my expiriment to see if i can get some sort of non-traditional forum working.
I encourage you to visit them and begin posting on the topics, or sending me new topics if no one wants to talk about the one i put up.
This is just an expiriment, if anyone has any ideas, then please let me know, and they can be updated or removed if its a total faliure.

Hey guys, sorry I haven’t dropped by lately, been busy with uni and setting up work, etc. Anyway, hope everyone’s been fine!
